This campground is great but the rude attitude of the apparent bipolar staff (after reading the reviews) makes it a zero! I would not recommend. Both Lisa and Dwayne were super rude grumpy and not friendly in the least and threaten to charge credit cards, lock gates at 8:30pm and no firewood so no fire at 8:30pm.i think they need a vacation and a attitude adjustment. It didn’t matter how nice we were they never changed their attitude at all.

Lisa and Dwayne are wonderful managers who take pride in the campground they run. The laundry facilities are always clean and the price is extremely reasonable. The public bathrooms are spotless. The sites are kept tidy and clean as well. The campground is just off the highway and easy access. There is some highway noise but it never bothered us. If you follow the rules, there are no issues and we appreciated that this is enforced. They were very knowledgable on places to eat, local walking paths and other neat stories they shared. We will definately be back and highly recommend this campground!!

We recently stayed at this campground for two nights and unfortunately, our experience was not what we had hoped for. While we were excited to enjoy nature with our three kids, our stay was overshadowed by the manager, Lisa, and her overly strict and unwelcoming behavior. On our first night, we were simply settling down by the campfire, allowing our kids to enjoy the outdoors by picking up sticks from the ground to use for play, like drawing in the sand or walking with them. To our surprise, Lisa approached us, asking what we were doing with the sticks. She then informed us that we were not allowed to take anything from the bushes and threatened to charge us $100 for the sticks. After reviewing the campground’s policies, I found no mention of this rule, and it seemed unreasonable given that the sticks were picked from the ground and not from the trees. Lisa continued to monitor our family, even going so far as to comment on supervising our kids, despite them simply riding their bikes around the campground. Our kids are old enough to know their limits and were not causing any trouble. It felt like we couldn’t relax and enjoy the camping experience with our family. On our last night, things only got worse. Around 10:40 pm, as we were winding down and having a quiet conversation by the campfire, Lisa knocked on our trailer at 10:56 pm, saying it was "quiet time" in a tone that felt more like a reprimand than a request. We were being respectful, not making noise, and were the only campers in our area, with no one nearby. The trucks driving by on the highway were much louder than we were, so we felt this was unnecessary. Overall, we did not enjoy our stay, and it was clear that the campground’s management, particularly Lisa, made it difficult to relax and enjoy our time in nature. The campground was much emptier than others in the area, and now we understand why. I would not recommend this place for families, especially those with kids. The experience was far from what we expected, and it seems that Lisa’s presence is more about enforcing unnecessary rules than fostering a welcoming camping environment. If you're looking to have a peaceful, enjoyable camping trip with your family, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Easy access. Many trees. Nice campground. Some road noise, but it didn't bother us. Friendly staff. Manager was very helpful with tips about where to stop along the road on our way to Alaska. He even stopped at our campsite to see if we needed anything. Would gladly stay again.

Great place just off the highway but mostly pretty quiet. The hosts were extremely friendly, shared tips about places to go and others about gas and stays along our trip! He actually came to our campfire and visited for a short time, it was great to get a locals perspective on things. Highly recommend, washrooms were neat and clean, wifi available, lots to do for a day stay more for a longer one!
