The resort owners are most gracious and charming, we really enjoyed their company. Our cabin was beautiful and accommodating, we slept better than we do at home. The bear hunt was top notch and a memory that will last a lifetime.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful week-long stay here. The location is peaceful and quiet, yet only a minute off highway 11 and 20 minutes from Geraldton. Our cabin (number 10) was great, the screened in porch was nice, and we had a view of the lake. The boats they rent are fine, I used a 9.9hp which is perfect as you don't need to go far to find fish. The walleye fishing was surprisingly good. They have a well maintained beach and kid's playground which was perfect for swimming. They also have a small store on site as well. The owners are great people who went above and beyond in terms of being friendly and helpful to us. I have stayed at many fishing/hunting lodges across Northern Ontario and can say that even in 2022, this place is priced very reasonably and offers great value. I highly recommend staying here whether its for fishing, hunting. or a family vacation.

Pros : - Beautiful view of the lake and nature all around. - Friendly owners. Cons: -The wifi signal keeps dropping and reconnecting unfortunately (comes with being way up north). -The bathroom wasn't clean (bins overflowing, dirty shower, dead spiders that you could see have been there a while, a strange lingering smell). - Only one big dumpster to throw away garbage, which unfortunately was smelling really bad (due to size and amount of garbage in there). - No dedicated site to wash dishes when you're camping in a tent overlooking the lake (think there was one down at the lakeside but it's a bit far/steep to walk in the dark).

Couldn't have found better. Exactly what I was looking for and more. Beautiful beach, excellent fishing and more than accommodating owners. Thanks Bobby Jo and Yves for your hospitality and some great conversations and laughs. Can't wait til next time!! Make sure you go to the right one. The Resort is right next door to a campground named Wild Goose Lake Campground. Different place, different owners. The Resort is the one you want. The entrance to the resort is before the entrance to the campground.

Finest owners anywhere. Top notch Cleanest camp and scenery in all of northern ontario. Sand beach, excellent fishing and great rates. A must stop

My friend and I camped here on a motorcycle trip around Lake Superior. We were treated like locals and everyone was very helpful and super nice. It's a great campground with great owners that are always looking to improve the property to make even a belter place to camp. I can't express enough how great it was to stay here. I would be back every year but it's over a over 1000 miles from my house. I need to plan anther trip that includes Wild Goose Lake Campground. - Cheers!

We had a family reunion and it was wonderful. The owners made sure our cabin was big enough for all of us. We went fishing, had a fire in the evenings, bbq most nights. Sat around the large table to talk, laugh, play games and just reconnect! Any questions we had were answered quickly and directions were given for the closest town when we found we forgot a few things that could not be found in the store on site. Thank you, Bobby Jo & Yves for making our stay so enjoyable!! We’ll be back😃

The owners are exceptionally lovely, friendly people. They go over and above to make you feel welcome and ensure you have anything you need. The cabin we had was clean and well stocked. The beach is clean and the lake is beautiful. I would recommend this resort to any true fan of the outdoors. Great stay. We will be back.
