Everything was closed, but found a sweet little spot at this camp spot. Close to Elmdale if you need a camping spot before your drop off at canadream it's recommended.

We had a really nice weekend tent camping at the Group Site. The site has ample room for large tents and provides good levels of shade throughout the day. Very friendly owners - with an easy check in and out process. It is clean (including the washrooms and showers) and well maintained. There’s a great little lake with fish and turtles. It is super close to the Wildlife Park for a fun daytime activity - this also means you can hear the coyotes/wolves in the evening - which is pretty cool. There is some traffic noise from the highway and trains - but this wasn’t enough to deter us from visiting again. Awesome little gem of a RV/campground that we hope to visit again.

This is a beautiful campground. Nice and clean and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The other campers who are seasonal are very nice. Has a beautiful lake. You can also hear the wolves,coyotes and peacocks from the wildlife park. Not expensive at all. Had an amazing time. Highly recommend this place for sure. U are close to wildlife park and not far from halifax or truro to do shopping.

Spent 2 nights on our way back from NB. Staff was friendly and the site was fine. Good price for a 3 way hook up. Enjoyed watching the crew decorate the float for the Stewiacke Town days. Would definitely stay there again.

After 4 years at this campground, we finally left as the cold water is not drinkable and the hot water always had a very bad smell. It was worst than ever this year. Complaining to Willie was useless as he would always reply that he is working on it and if we were not happy there, to feel free to move, so we finally took his advice. The washroom building is left to be desired. Willie is not always as friendly as people think as he is rude at times. He was very rude to me last summer after I complained about his worker who started using the wiper sniper at 7:30 am. Willie never apologized to me for his rudeness. He also raised the seasonal rents $500 more in the space of 2 years and nothing to offer for what he charges for a seasonal. The new campground where we are now is costing us the same price and offers more. The water is drinkable, no smelly hot water, there is a swimming pool, a modern washroom building with 4 washers and 4 dryers, fun activities like washer toss and horseshoe tournaments, live bands playing and more. We love our new home!! We now wish we would have moved here sooner.

Pleasantly surprised with this gem! Such a friendly and owner and made us feel comfortable right away. Very pretty spot in the fall!

Great place: very personable owner (Milton boy!), firewood was cheap ($5) and a generous amount, and the owner delivered it right to our site for us! Showers are hot, washrooms are clean. Full service site hookups all worked fine. Mostly seasonal campers when we went (late sept) so plenty of space and privacy. Would 100% stay again if we’re in the area! Thanks!
