Property was beautiful. Needs some ground work. Bathrooms were not so great. Coach roaches and spiders in very dirty showers. No air circulation inside bathroom. Water was hot and pressure was good. Shower head in middle stall hit the ceiling instead of u. Sadly pool closes at 6 which was a bummer. It doesn't even get dark until 9. However location is amazing and price was good.

We've had a wonderful experience at Wilderness RV park. This is our first experience with an RV and my husband told me that the manager had been VERY helpful to him!! This is a very affordable park and the "visitors" are really friendly!

We booked for 1 night through our RPI membership so the price was unbeatable at $10 for full hookups for a night. This was easy to access from i10 and the check-in process was simple/friendly. Sites are a little tight, but pull-thru which is always appreciated. Starlink was a little spotty with the amount of trees but we made it work for the night. Water pressure wasn't great and we were close to the bathhouse so I thought I'd check it out in case it made more sense to shower there but it was rather dim so once the shower curtain was closed I'm sure it would've been too dark. This is a basic, no frills campground but it was peaceful and we wouldn't hesitate to book again if passing through. 6 miles from a Buccee's and several other gas stations a little closer.

Definitely wilderness. Quite a drive to anywhere, it was quiet at least. The spots are small and I felt like I could shake hands with the camper next to me without ever leaving my rig. The grounds were a dump with trash and degraded trailers everywhere. Everything was overgrown and the permanent resident's sites were trashed with campers falling apart and junk hoarded everywhere. You're likely to lose your rig in one of the thousands of pot holes along the narrow, tight, gravel roads leading to your site, which have either 30 amp or 50 amp only per site. They don't even have the additional 20 amp breaker like most other places do. The bath houses were dirty and mold filled and the showers barely worked. We didn't even use the laundry "facility" because it was just that bad. The family of ducks roaming the grounds was cool, but I hope you enjoy cats, lots of cats that live in the campground, even with their own cat house made of discarded furniture out behind the dumpsters. I can not recommend this RV park to anyone.
