Just went for the afternoon. Busy but still lots open open area to play in the water. River is swifter father out but good for the kids close to shore. Could use a couple more tables in day use area. Very well kept. Nice size camp spots and kept very clean even for booked solid.

Great large campground with lots of trees, playground and pedal carts for rent, and access to the river. Small shop with some goodies and ice cream. Great place to camp for families and pets.

We had a great time at Willey West Campground! The area is beautiful, peaceful, and a wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature. We really loved our stay. A few things to note: there wasn’t potable water available, and the bathrooms could use a little more frequent cleaning. Also, since the campground is quite close to the highway, you can hear car noise—especially if you’re tenting (mostly in the evening, when sleeping time). Other than that, everything was excellent, and we would definitely come back!

A good place to unwind away from hustle and bustle life. The place is nice and relaxing. The woody vibes were perfect. It’s just the washroom/shower room needs to be more accessible in every sites. The toilet in the camp sites needs more cleaning.

As an avid outdoor enthusiast, I've visited my fair share of campgrounds. Some have been good, some have been… less so. But every now and then, you stumble upon a place that truly stands out, a place that exceeds all expectations and leaves you counting down the days until you can return. For me, that place is Willie's West In Drayton Valley. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the warmth and helpfulness of the staff. They were genuinely welcoming, eager to assist with everything from site selection to providing information about local attractions. It’s clear they take pride in their campground and are dedicated to ensuring every guest has a memorable experience. What truly impressed me was their willingness to go above and beyond. During my stay, I unexpectedly ran low on gas and was facing a tricky situation getting back to town. Without hesitation, the staff at Willie's stepped in to help, ensuring I could get back on the road safely. This level of care and commitment is rare and speaks volumes about the kind of people who run this exceptional campground. Beyond the outstanding service, Willie's boasts stunning scenery and impeccably maintained facilities. The campsites are spacious and well-maintained, offering a variety of options to suit different preferences. Whether you're looking for a secluded spot nestled amongst the trees or a more open area with easy access to amenities, you're sure to find the perfect site. The bathrooms were consistently clean and well-stocked, which is always a huge plus in my book. The natural beauty surrounding the campground is simply breathtaking. A short, easy walk leads you to a pristine river, its waters sparkling in the sunlight. Fishing enthusiasts will be delighted by the challenge it presents; the fish are plentiful but not easily fooled, making for an incredibly addictive and rewarding experience. I spent hours casting my line, completely losing myself in the tranquility of the surroundings. Willie's also offers amazing deals and packages, making it an incredibly affordable option for a weekend getaway or an extended vacation. And with well-maintained walking trails meandering through the property, there are plenty of opportunities to explore the natural beauty of the area. In conclusion,Willie's! is more than just a campground; it's a home away from home. The combination of exceptional staff, beautiful sites, clean facilities, fantastic amenities, and stunning natural surroundings makes it a truly special place. I wholeheartedly recommend Willie's! to anyone looking for an unforgettable outdoor experience. I know I'll be back – again and again!

Hello!! 1st time at Elevated Camping experience and it was an excellent stay. Camp site was large, private and well kept. Camp staff were friendly and delivered items right to our site in minutes. Fishing and lots of things to do close to site. We had the excitement of a deer spending some of its day with us right at our camp site. Made for some nice pictures. By the way the pizza was delicious!! Delivered hot right to our camp site!!

We were really happy with our time at Willie West! We were there very early season so it was quiet. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the place. Kids LOVED throwing ricks in the river. The highway was a bit noisy but I think in high season it might not be as pronounced. The staff was incredibly friendly!!! Filling and dumping was easy. Make sure you have good trailer breaks coming in! It’s pretty steep!

It was a fantastic summer at the Willey West Campground. As a seasonal camper we were very satisfied with our hosts, Carmen and Jason, who have made some positive upgrades to the services available at the park. Carmen is forever busy with the business end and Jason is constantly running to three places at one time. Kudos to the friendly staff for a successful summer. Everyone was awesome. Special tip of the hat goes to Liam. Your customer service skills are great. We are always happy to see a big wave from you daily. Julian and his 2 coworkers who removed the wasp nest in our spare tire we are forever grateful. We appreciated the fresh veggies out of the garden, they were delicious. They were available to all the campers. Janet planted lettuce, radishes, onions, peas... There were fresh herbs available such as oregano, basil, sage..... Thank you The kids seemed to have a lot of fun on the peddle carts that they can ride all over the park. There are also giant games you can rent including a ping pong table that they will deliver to your site. Occasionally there was a food truck at the beach. The beach was packed with people on the hot days. You can swim in the river as long as you don't go into the current. Kids were swimming in waist deep water with no issues. Goat yoga is available every Saturday. We didn't try it but it seemed popular. The park is clean and very well operated. The staff go above and beyond to ensure your stay is pleasant. This is the second year in a row my family has attended and we couldn’t be happier. The area is beautiful, all the sites are well treed and offer privacy and are always clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful when you need them. Lots of activities to do, walking trails ,bike riding, goat yoga!! There is a great playground for the kids to play at. A short walk down to the river offers amazing views and a chance to cool off on those hot days. We have brought family out to the campground one year and they loved it so much they began looking for a camper to start camping! We love this campground and will be going for many more years to come.

We've been to Willey West Campground twice now and are happy to say that it is one of our favorite places to go. It's family and dog friendly with lots of things for everyone to do! They have pizza night, bike rentals, game rentals, and more! The best part is the river access. You don't have to worry about blue green algae here! It's a great fishing spot and a great place to go for a dip yourself and bring the dogs too. The views are gorgeous! Highly recommend.
