We had a beautiful beachfront campsite in October. It's right in Powell River, convenient to town and the ferry terminal and walking along the beach. Facilities were fine. I imagine it could be quite busy in high season, but was lovely in the off season.

Great ocean front camping right next to town. Quaint grounds with small sites, which limits the size of RV that can get in there, none of those ridiculously huge goose necks you see menacing the roads and their equally menacing families.

Attended the area for the Logger Sports event. Had a great time, wish there was more choices in Food Trucks. The chainsaw carvings were fantastic.

Campsite is clean and friendly and well maintained. There are clean laundry facilities here and showers. Showers cost a token for 4 minutes and the token you purchase at the front office. Firewood is $10 a bucket or $20 for a wheelbarrow. It is a gentle 5-minute walk to town site. There is a ice cream parlor close by and mini golf across the street. A short drive up to Lund BC and you'll find an awesome bakery called Nancy's on the water. Parking there is $2 an hour but well worth it.

My 3-star is relative to other campgrounds I've stayed at in BC. Compared to campsites I've been in Alberta and elsewhere it's still pretty good. My main criticism are the tenting-specific area which had minimal space between neighbours, little privacy, and wasn't particularly flat. There was also a fairly active road right beside the campground which has many large vehicles passing by so it was pretty loud. If you got a site nearer the ocean, then this campsite seems like it would be good. It's also located in a great spot walkable to cafes and shops in town. There is a walking/hiking trail directly beside the campsite too which is quite beautiful as well as a park area.

On my cross country tour i had the privilage of staying here.location right on the water. Owners were both super freindly. The cost was very reasonable. 2 minutes from town. All one could ask for really. Thanx

We had the pleasure of camping here on a few occasions this summer in our truck camper. The hosts were kind, courteous and professional in all of our interactions. The sites were clean and well taken cared for. The washrooms and laundry facilities were in good order as well. The campground is close to hiking trails, the water, the park, the playground and the walk into town is pretty convenient. All in all we had a wonderful experience and we look forward to the opportunity of visiting again soon.

Been trying to book there for a couple days... No one answers the phone, they did finally respond to an email, although still managing to avoid offering anything helpful. Apparently it's classified information as to whether or not they have any space available. Their website asks for all your personal information and credit card for an availability request... Seems sketchy. Thankfully other places nearby answer their phones & offer plenty of information, no credit card required.

The location and campgrounds are great. Management not so much. Had family unexpectedly come to town they needed a camping spot. I went down to the office and was told they had no openings for the whole summer. My niece goes on line emails them and gets a spot. Then when I went to visit them at there site I counted 5 empty sites and that was just in the bottom area. So what the hell. Very disappointed in management.

As a single woman camping alone for one night before friends joined, I was so thankful at how Tracy and Dustin were so inviting. This was a fantastic stay, I would give the campground and overall a 10 stars, the bathrooms were very clean, showers, Wifi, and laundry.Registration was easy and very welcoming! Thank you Tracy and Dustin for also accommodating us in changing campsites. The campgrounds are near to restaurants, we ate at Coastal Cookery and had an amazing meal! This is a great campsite run by an awesome couple, thank you both!
