It was like coming back from 50 years ago when we came as a family for weekends. Now we just became seasonal. The staff has been so helpful and accommodating to our needs. Nothing like a campfire at the end of the day. They have a beautiful pool, splash pad, jumping pad for the kiddies. Goofy golf and even have a general store that serves fresh burgers and fries and then scooped ice-cream. They have a laundromat and very clean washroom facilities. They have daily activities to participate in.

We feel so incredibly thankful and privileged to be a part of the Sun Retreats community as seasonal campers—this really is our home away from home. The campground is everything we could ask for and more. It’s a beautiful little slice of heaven, surrounded by gorgeous trees, well-kept gardens, and two amazing pools that are perfect for cooling off and making special memories. The park is so well run and continues to impress us. There’s always something exciting going on—fun new events, creative themed weekends, and activities that offer something for everyone, whether you're young or just young at heart. The campers here are all friendly, down-to-earth people and always up for a nice chat. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of good vibes. The staff truly go above and beyond—they’re kind, helpful, and really make you feel like part of something special. A big shoutout to the new park manager who’s doing an incredible job keeping everything running smoothly and in tip-top shape. You can really tell he cares. I have such fond childhood memories of this place, and I’m so grateful that it’s still just as magical—if not more—today. If I could give this park 10++ stars, I would in a heartbeat. Thank you to all the amazing staff for creating such a special place where we can relax, reconnect, and keep building beautiful memories. After a long week at work, there’s nothing better to look forward to. 💛

We always have an amazing time here! The staff are friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrive. The facilities/grounds are well maintained. It’s a perfect spot for families—very kid-friendly with lots of fun things to do. From walks, bike rides, playground, beautiful pool and organized activities, there is never a dull moment. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and fun getaway!

This campground is great. It have both trailers and tent camping. The staff is great, the price is well worth the nights . The bathrooms were clean I was impressed with that because not all campgrounds have clean bathrooms. The showers were clean as well only 1 down fall is the shower area not the showers smell like well water. Nothing else wrong with the showers. The showers have a small area with curtains and a small ledge for your towels clothing etc. The shower it self has a curtain so your dry items don't get wet while showering a lot of room to shower. The pools, splash pad is really nice and fun. The store there has some reasonable prices. The ice was really good last longer the expected. We left a day early because bad weather was coming as we were tenting. Your camping areas are really spacious and all sites come with water and electricity which is a bonus while tenting. The whole campground is perfect for all ages. I recommend this campground as I will be going back later on this summer.
