Many wonderful sites on the water and trees. For those who want drive through spots, they have those too, no trees nor on the water. We arrived a day late and they checked us in by phone. Super helpful staff.

This is a beautiful state campground with full hookups located on Lake Martin! We had a full concrete slab for our camper and the sites are a fair distance a part. Stores are close and easy to get it. We will be back!

Wind Creek Park should be named Lake Martin State Park. With any name it's a very nice park. This park has it all. Very nice campsites for tent campers and especially for RV campers. The RV sites are quite level, if not perfectly level with both 30 and 50 amp connections. The Marina and the marina store are both super nice. Also lots of playgrounds for children. Highly recommended. Also you can watch the American bald eagles.

As I am writing this, we are staying at Wind Creek State Park in our motorhome and we have really enjoyed our visit. The park is huge and its biggest feature is that it is sitting right on Lake Martin, the third largest lake in Alabama. Many of its more than 100 RV sites are on peninsulas overlooking the lake which make for beautiful views looking out of the windows of your RV. The sunsets over the lake can be spectacular. (See pictures.) The RV sites have electrical, water, and storage hookups. To my knowledge, they do not have cable TV, however, we did use the park’s free Wi-Fi to connect our TV to the Internet to stream TV and/or movies. If you have children, there are a number of playgrounds with swings, slides, timing apparatus, etc. scattered throughout the park. There are a number of bath houses scattered through the park where campers can take a shower or use the restrooms. There are also to locations were campers can do their laundry. Lake Martin is known as a good fishing lake. I saw a number of people just enjoying riding around in their boats. Some people had pulled their boats up to the shore right next to their RV site. There at least two boat ramps that I am aware of in the park. One of them is near the marina/country shore, where there are docks with slips where people keep their boats permanently on the lake. The country store has stuff such as drinks, snacks, fishing equipment and bait and other stuff that you might need while camping. We really enjoyed our three day stay at the park. I would highly recommend it for camping and/or boating if you’re anywhere near the area

Beautiful park on Lake Martin. Lots to do. Ample amenities. We just camped over night but I wish we'd had more time. Hundreds of different types of camping sites.
