We had an amazing time at Wind Creek State Park! We stayed in our camper and loved the festive Halloween decorations. The kids had a blast trick-or-treating around the campground, and the whole atmosphere was fun, welcoming, and family-friendly. Highly recommend visiting—especially during Halloween!

Wind Creek State Park is a wonderful spot to visit if you're looking to swim, fish, do some boating or set up camp. They have seperate campgrounds set up for rv's, tents, & accommodations for equine camping. They also offer cabin rentals. Wind creek has zip lining, archery & walking trails. There are several picnic tables located throughout with charcoal grills, not to mention a few playgrounds for kids as well as put put golf area near the rv campgrounds. Wind Creek has a snack shack located at the long pier with picnic tables. There are several bathhouses with restrooms located throughout. There is also a general store onsite with laundry access (near the marina docking).

Nice, very large campground with a number of full hook up sites. Sites are spacious but could use some TLC. There is a lot of construction going on making new spacious sites. Staff are very friendly. Interior roads are easy to navigate.

Awesome camp! If you want water front, be sure to call and ask if the spot you want is water front or on a hill. But water entrance isn't every far away. Great staff, clean and A/C bathrooms in the E section. Just wish they had done where in the bathroom stalls to put a flashlight or a phone.

There are some really nice things about this park. Plenty of swimming and fishing spots! Really nice picnic areas and pretty places to just walk and see things. The campground is OK. We really lucked out with our spot on E loop, it was larger and had more shade than many others. All of the water front spots must be reserved for and entire week, so those were not an option. This is also the most expensive campground in Alabama that I have found. 75 and change for 2 nights. Plus another 12 when i got here because kids have a second tent. For comparison, the grand canyon is 35 for 2 nights.... Very nice play equipment, and a great naturalist program.

Stayed here for 4days with family, very beautiful and relaxing place. Did boat ride, fishing and kids love it a lot. It's a must place to finish, will definitely come back again.

Wind Creek is the perfect place to take the kids, family, and friends for a day on the lake or camp out overnight. There are so many activities for young ones to enjoy as well as adults. It's a very clean and well kept environment and large enough so that you're not cramped right next to other people visiting. My family and I have been enjoying Wind Creek State Park for many years, and we've never once had any issues with anything or anyone. They do a great job at making sure every visitor is safe and having a good experience. If you're looking for a place on Lake Martin to visit that is clean, safe and absolutely beautiful, I highly recommend Wind Creek. Lake Martin is, in my opinion, the best thing about the state of Alabama, with it's gorgeous landscape and great fishing and camping spots. If you're not from Alabama and you come for a visit, you absolutely have to visit Wind Creek. Even if it's a little bit of a drive for you.... it's totally worth it!! Take it from someone who has lived in Alabama her whole life....Lake Martin at Wind Creek State Park is by FAR Alabama's best feature! I cannot say enough wonderful things about the place. Go see for yourself and I promise you won't be disappointed!!😃😃

I loved camping at Wind Creek Campground I recommend it so many things you can do and yet it's so busy, lot of places to walk or bike ride, different activities for the family The light that you would park your suit some of them have a bigger area than others, No problem. We had a good size backside that you could have your fire ring your picnic table The laundry room, The price was good a $1.50 for the washing machine and dryer It was clean and I left a sack behind and somebody was kind enough to put it on the folding table very thankful, (comfy socks) Yeah I really enjoyed my stay at this campground I definitely want to come back

A beautiful campground. Fun and relaxing. Grocery stores and restaurants near by. Sites have plenty of room. My camper is 27 ft long. I had room for 2 cars and a wave runner on my site.

This is a great place to camp. They have several different types of sites. Some are wooded near the water and others are more open and close to your neighbors. Bath houses are kept clean and in good repair.
