This is a great resort. It's great for families. Great amenities, pool, boat ramp, pier for boats.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much. This is Alabama, after all. However this campground's location is fantastic. It's beautiful on the cove side, the dog park is immense, and the permanent residents are amazing. One of the most chill campgrounds I've ever seen. I've been across Alabama a few times and...ehhh. The area around Langston is pretty nice, all the way down to Guntersville. Scottsboro is a place that exists. It has all the culture and sights of any collection of strip malls. But Windermere is absolutely one the most relaxing, comfortable places you can get to. You get the chance, launch in.

Great RV lots to rent or to purchase. Gorgeous lake and Gorgeous RV Park. Friendly lot owners who accepted us as renters and made us feel welcomed. Larry, Connie, Kirk, and Tammy were our neighbors. Brandy, the Parks manager, was SUPER helpful and gave us some great restaurants to visit!

Peaceful Lake views and vibes, quiet park, easy paved level sites, heading north was recommended to take 59 to Fort Payne, exit onto 35 and turn onto 67 and follow it to the park, BEWARE OF STEEP GRADE NEAR END OF 35 when you’re within a couple miles of 67, Brandy sent excellent communication and since we knew our spot # and checked the map before arrival we drove right in and parked for the night, even though most spots are back in they do have some pull thrus, though the back ins are quite easy to maneuver into. Would stay again! Also really great nightly rate, best in AL!

We landed here for the month and had a great stay! We had a chance to hike all of the nearby trails and enjoy the weather here. It did get cold a few times but not bad all and all. Brandy was awesome and we couldn't have asked for a better stop. We hiked a few of the nearby trails and made a stop up to "Unclaimed Baggage" in Scottsboro.

After seeing a recommendation of Windemere Cove from someone in an RV group on Facebook, we changed our plans and booked a month here. We are thrilled we did! This place is so incredibly peaceful and quiet. It's a fabulous place to decompress and chill out. Their lake views are amazing! We are here for a couple more weeks, and taking chairs and drinks out on their dock at night for happy hour is the best! The sites are basic, but they are all paved, large enough for big rigs, and super clean. The staff members are as friendly and as helpful as anyone can be. They have a beautiful clubhouse and swimming pool. We have met some terrific people here (rentiers as well as lot owners) and everyone is loving it. If you have a boat, bring it. They have a nice launch to Lake Guntersville within the park. This place will stay on our list as a "go to" place to visit again.

This park is very quiet! I think they are looking to sell all the shots and make it a private resort because they want you to buy. Everything is done on the internet. No one is in the office for campers. Pool isn't heated. It is a beautiful spot to camp though. Water and mountains make it very peaceful. Road to come in is winding but we made it with a 42 ft 5th wheel. Nice stay.

We had kids and it was more of a retirement place than a kid friendly place
