Needless to say I have been here almost 3 years. The manager Veronica should be fired. This park is very neglected. Needless to say they also went up on monthly rent then started charging for electricity. When calling about my bill she then caught an attitude and argued with me because we are in December and I was referring to electricity for 2 months ago. Never asked for money back simply asked for the meter to be looked at due to my bill being $90 and I am only here for 14 days. They have other people here staying all month and their bill is $40. This place sucks I would never refer anyone here. The way it has been ran lately is the reason the park is emptying out. This place needs a lot of work and a new manager and or owners.

This park is beyond neglected with holes in the fence that encourage homeless to break into the laundry room. Theft is the everywhere. The place is one big fire hazard with dead animals and garbage abound. The park manager Veronica is grossly incompetent. If you want to live in an impoverished Alabama trailer park this is the place for you. Don't plan on sleeping as the loud music and road noise is guaranteed to keep you up.

I was sad to read some of the reviews for Windmill. I am the new maintenance man here at the park. I’m hoping it will be a safe and friendly place for the tenants that stay here. I will do my best to keep an eye on the property and everyone’s site as best as I can. There isn’t a pool anymore. You are allowed to use the facilities at Carlsbad RV Park as well….ie the pool…! Laundry room has been remodeled and open to tenants only…for park safety..! I’m working hard to get some grass growing. Don’t mind my drone flying overhead. It took these nice pictures. And kind of a neighborhood watch from above. Not too worry I’m not ever watching the tenants. Mainly getting practice and flying time in…. So come on down and stay for awhile…….drone pictures are the property of Greg Martinez you know copyright and all that business lol

Quite,safe gated community with plenty of shade trees and to top it off you can still use the indoor pool at Carlsbad rv park for $200 a month less.clean bathrooms and showers very happy we made the move.

We MISS the Laundry Mat being open to the Public! I don't know why it's not open to the public anymore, but we sure enjoyed going there! 👍

The Carlsbad rv park owns this park too.. but they have alot more amenities there. This place isn't the worst but the wifi will not connect.. even though it shows they have it and it has service. They do have cable which is my saving grace because my hotspot doesnt work (no service) out here. If they would fill the pool up I would be so happy but people say it hasnt had water in it for 5 years. If I had a chance to stay at carlsbad rv I would, they seem like great people it's just the windmill is a little more run down. Noisy at night also.

We moved to Carlsbad, NM on March 1, 2018 and moved into Windmill RV Park. The trailers are close together, but it seems all the RV parks in this town are like that. The office staff is very friendly and so are our neighbors. They seem to look out for each other. There is a laundry house with a games room with tables and chairs, seating area, and TV. This area and the laundry room are clean and well kept. The showers here at Windmill are being renovated (and have been for 4 years) so we have to go to the sister park, Carlsbad RV Park about 1 mile down the road and use their shower house. There is also a dog run; the pool is empty and has been for 4 years.There are a lot of long-term residents here. The internet here works well. There is also cable tv here.

Trailers are very close and power is always going out but the worst thing is the stealing. No cameras, no security and staff says there's nothing they can do about it very rude. Our neighbors trailer was broken into so he called cops and the manager was very upset that he called the cops because he said he didn't want the stealing problem to be publicized. No a/c in laundry room. We was told we could receive packages and mail at office but they returned all our mail and packages to sender. We had to buy a weed eater to cut grass around our camper. Very terrible place to stay.
