We drove an hour and 17 minutes just to be told that they were at capacity. We would have to wait for 6 people to leave, when the pool had just opened half an hour earlier. We knew the wait would be too long. All because they didn't have enough life guards on duty. Very disappointing for our 3 grandchildren 😥

It was a lot of fun there, they should warm up the water a few degrees more.

We look forward to visiting Winkler Aquatic Park every summer—and it’s become a cherished family outing! Yes, it’s about a 1.5‑hour drive from the city, but the fun and memories make it entirely worth it. The pool area is spotless, well-kept, and great for swimmers of all ages. The water is always inviting, and whether your family enjoys racing across the pool or playing in shallower areas, there’s plenty of space to splash around. A highlight for us is the playground right beside the pool: the kids absolutely love it! After swimming, they dash over to the swings, slides, and climbing structures, where they can build sandcastles, laugh with friends, and burn off energy before lunch. We always pack a picnic and settle under the shady trees nearby. The grassy lawn is perfect for spreading out blankets, enjoying our food, and relaxing while the kids play. It’s the kind of place where every family member—young or old—can wind down and enjoy quality time together. If you’re searching for a fun, simple, and budget-friendly summer day trip, Winkler Aquatic Park checks all the boxes. Highly recommended! 🌞🏊‍♂️🎉
