Disappointed that I paid $83 for one night here. The pool was small, and the site was not very tent friendly. Actually there was no way to make a reservation for a tent site, I had to tell the reservation site that we had a camper, because there is no tent sites. I did need power though for my cpap. The campground is conveniently just off the Trans Canada Highway, which is nice for convenience, but not nice when your tent is set up only yards away from the highway. I barely slept, as it sounded like semi trucks were going to run me over all night. I could feel the vibration from them! Maybe ok if your in a trailer as opposed to a tent, but I don't recommend going here if your just tenting, find somewhere cheaper.

Stopped here on the travel to Calgary from Ontario. Wonderful little campsite, the sites were very well taken care of. The washrooms and showers were 10/10 well kept, clean and tidy. Everyone was very respectful and friendly. The only negative side is if you're a light sleeper there is a lot of traffic noise throughout the night since it's right near the Highway. If that doesn't bother you I definitely recommend this campground.

The owners are great. The campground is great for a night. It is situated right next to the freeway which puts a damper on quiet and solitude. Not a lot to do. The best part is because we have a smaller RV we also bring a tent for my son and grandson to sleep in. It gives my granddaughter and I more room. The owners are very accommodating and do not have a problem when a tent is pitched on the site. We will definitely stay there again.

If you’re reading old reviews, it’s pretty clear there’s been a lot of positive changes to this campground. The team running the campground clearly care about providing a pleasant stay to their guests. The campground is clean and well maintained and very convenient to explore Winnipeg. Bathrooms are nice and clean, sites are fairly level with maintained gravel for parking, and the dog park was large and clean. Definitely recommend!

⭐ 5-Star Review – Winnipeg West KOA Exceeds Every Expectation As someone who’s stayed at and inspected countless campgrounds over the years, I can confidently say that Winnipeg West KOA is an absolute standout in every category. First and foremost, the toilets and showers — they are unbelievably clean. Spotless facilities, well-maintained at all times, with no detail overlooked. It’s rare to see this level of care at any campground, but here, it’s clearly the standard. The grounds themselves are immaculate. From the carefully maintained gravel areas to the lush, neatly trimmed grass sections, everything is kept in pristine condition. You can tell this isn’t just a business — it’s a place that the owners take pride in. Speaking of the team, the staff are unbelievably friendly — the kind of genuine hospitality you only get with a proper family-run business. They go out of their way to make sure every guest feels welcome, comfortable, and taken care of. In short, this place ticks all the boxes. Clean, organised, family-friendly, and run by people who truly care. Whether you’re passing through or looking for a peaceful, well-kept place to stay near Winnipeg, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Winnipeg West KOA. Five stars all the way.

Was so happy to find this place open when travelling in November! Thank you :)

Did not feel like your typical KOA campground. Bathroom was poorly stocked for toilet paper but the showers were decent and plenty of hot water. The highway noise was horrible for anyone tenting and had an eerie vibe to it. No garbage bags in the bins, picnic tables were broken and just unkept. Pool looked disgusting and bags of garbage thrown in the owners backyard area. Wouldn't stay there again!

The main washroom was closed due to cover restrictions and the other washroom and shower is open to public.... The staff were helpful but there was no staff for night shift so washroom left in horrible conditions.. The area was clean but it was like a normal campground not a KOA quality... We stayed in 4 other KOA during last week....it was busy but everyone has enough space... It was at the HWY side but we did not mind the noise...there are serving indiqn good in a very reasonable price...

It's been years since I've been to a KOA. They have definitely stayed the same through the years. This location had a gas station attached to the campgrounds. Security gate is closed at night so you felt safe. The things that haven't changed are how clean and organized the pads and camp spots are. There is a well groomed playground for kids, laundry, showers, and a small little pizza restaurant attached to the registration office.
