We’ve docked at Winter Harbour Marina & RV a few times, and each visit has been a wonderful experience. It’s a little paradise with the friendliest people. On our last trip, we had the pleasure of meeting Julia, the caretaker—such a lovely person. She is the kind of person who goes above and beyond to take care of folks, and it truly shows. Julia even lent my 12-year-old daughter and me her bikes so we could explore Winter Harbour’s beautiful boardwalk, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit. By far, it is one of the best experiences I've ever had. The adventure simply getting to the harbour with a camper on the back of the truck was incredible. Beautiful scenery despite the roads being no different than logging roads. It made it fun! Once at the harbour campsite, the hosts were very friendly and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. The showers were great, and hot water was a welcomed reprieve from the cold, wet weather. I'm not complaining at all! It was early May... it's to be expected. Visited the outpost and took a hike, went out on a chartered fishing trip, and just thoroughly enjoyed this trip. We were visited by large others, and a large sea lion lounged on the dock. The fishing was outstanding, the views absolutely staggering in their beauty. It's definitely a trip of a lifetime. Would do it again in a second.

Winter Harbour Marina is charming, friendly, inclusive and a great place to fish! We arrived with a flat trailer tire. A pleasant local - friend of the managers - volunteered to get it fixed in Port Hardy, a rough two hour drive. He had an errand there; brought back the tire the next day. Another guest lent us his commercial grade vacuum bagger to preserve our catch. Meanwhile, excellent managers Julia and Don could not have been more helpful and pleasant. Small campsites but great dock space and very clean wash rooms. Plus lots of visiting Sea Otters. We'll be back!

Stayed for a week in one of the RV’s they have setup on the site. It was a great setup for 2 couples (and a dog) facilities were clean and great shape and the hosts Don and Julia were SO NICE and really helpful. Great fishing for salmon and halibut 10 minutes from the dock. Amazing stay.

They bend over backwards to make your stay a good one. The power went out for over 12 hours and Mike made sure we all had enough ice to keep our fish cool.

My three 30-something sons and I had a fantastic week at the Winter Harbour Marina cabin. We had great fishing trip. Caught lots of coho, chinook and hali. The managers of the marina and cabin, Mike and Patty, were amazing. Mike helped with fishing advice and Patty had the rustic cabin so well set up for fishing, it couldn't have been better. Their hospitality was top notch. If you and 3 others want to have a great trip, book this place!
