Every single site here is very well maintained, except for one..makes me wonder why I was assigned it when more than half the park is empty. I'm a Thousand Trails member, but they could have done better. The site concrete pad is just crumbs, the sod fabric is exposed and in pieces, the site next to me has a trailer stored with a lot of dead plants & bushes, as well as garbage. My body is covered in bug bites (fleas, ants, I don't know), so much so that I had to get Benadryl & I won't even let the dogs out. I have some activities to attend on this side of town, otherwise I would have left after only 24hrs here. With that being said, the office staff and the neighbors are very pleasant.

If you're anything like me, you're looking for that sweet spot when you travel—a place that feels like a quiet getaway, but you don't have to drive an hour just to grab a gallon of milk. That's exactly what we found at Encore Winter Quarters Manatee RV Resort in Bradenton, Florida, and honestly, we were blown away! ​Location, Location, Tranquility! ​The location of this resort is absolutely perfect. It’s nestled in a spot that makes getting to everything a breeze. We were just a short drive from all the major shops and dining options you could ever want—think quick access to places like Ellenton Premium Outlets and the Mall at University Town Center. Plus, the beautiful Gulf Coast beaches, like Anna Maria Island and Siesta Key, are super accessible. ​But here's the best part: despite being so close to the buzz of Bradenton and Sarasota, the park itself is an oasis of calm. Stepping into the resort feels like leaving the city hustle behind. We didn't hear any traffic noise; just the sounds of people enjoying the beautiful 17-acre central lake. It truly offers that wonderful, tranquil beauty you want from an RV resort. ​Big Rig Friendly and Community Focused ​This place is massive! With 415 sites, there is plenty of room for all kinds of RVs, including big rigs, and the sites are full hookup with 30/50 AMP service. We appreciated the ease of maneuvering our RV into a spacious spot. It feels more like a small, well-kept community than a temporary campground. ​Speaking of community, the vibe here is fantastic. There's a wonderful mix of travelers passing through and long-term residents, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. For those who are completely smitten with the area (and I don't blame you!), you'll be happy to know that they also offer vacation homes for sale. It's an excellent option if you're looking for a seasonal or annual spot to call your own in sunny Florida. ​Amenities to Keep You Entertained ​Whether you want to be active or just relax, they have you covered. We spent quite a bit of time by one of the two outdoor pools and the whirlpool/hot tub—perfect after a long day of sightseeing. The clubhouse is a hub of activity, and the resort offers a full calendar of planned events, from bingo and card playing to line dancing and movie nights. Other great amenities we used included the: ​Fitness Center/Gym ​Shuffleboard Courts ​Game Room (complete with a pool table) ​On-site Library ​Laundry Facilities ​Overall, Encore Winter Quarters Manatee is a fantastic choice for your next Florida getaway. It strikes the ideal balance between convenient access to all the fun of coastal Florida and a peaceful, beautiful resort environment. We can't wait to go back!

This is absolutely the best campground in The area! Staff is friendly, grounds are clean as well as pool and shower house areas. The two laundry are well kept air conditioned and make laundry a pleasure instead of a chore. I highly recommend this park and plan to visit on a regular basis.

This place is delightful! The staff has done a spectacular job maintaining and keeping the park so beautiful. LOVE the resort pools & clubhouse. LOVE the on-site boat/kayak ramp & it’s a beautiful, peaceful paddle too. Mgr Dawn takes great care of her guests and makes diligent efforts for her guests. This is a great park. You won’t be disappointed.

This resort is very nice and people friendly. We rent every winter at this resort since 9 years and we love it. We bought a mobile home in this resort this year. Management have change since a year. The new manager told me that they want to upgrade the resort. Hurricane has slowdown everything. Then the manager is off for few months and will be back in July. They start by cleaning the place but nothing as been renew yet. Hope it will get better by next November…

This review is from the perspective of a full time RV family with kids traveling the US. This campground is overall clean, safe and quiet but wasn’t a good fit for us because of the below reasons and we left a week early. The good: Kind people, clean, quiet (except for the closest to the highway row), peaceful and safe. Close to anything you need in town + lots to do for fun and entertainment in Bradenton and Sarasota. What we didn’t like: - small roads and no sidewalks so didn’t feel safe to walk with my children or ride bikes and play. People drive slow but you need to get on a site to get out of the way of cards- tiny roads! - very close together sites, quite tight and uncomfortable to use you yard space so close to others - the only amenity is the pool - majority of people there are residents and older folks - our site was so dirty when we arrived, there were hundreds of cigarette butts all around - the bugs awful and everywhere Overall this is a decent campground just not a good fit for us and wouldn’t recommend it to family with kids or if you like more specious sites, roads and more amenities.

My only complaint was all amenities closing so early (8pm on weekdays, 5pm on weekends), I guess I can understand the pool, but bathrooms/showers??🥴 This was the first time at a campsite that didn’t keep bathrooms open for use. Aside from that, the resort was very well maintained (office lady was very pleasant). The pool on the water is beautiful and gym was very decent with a great view. Location is pretty central to everything too.

Nice place compared to other RV Parks with full time homes. However, I booked a premium site and got stuck in the smallest space next to the maintenance yard. Bug spray required for your ankles or you will have problems.

Great location for an rv park, there’s a massive playground across the bridge. Close by to anything you need ( .5 miles ) , office ladies are so lovely! Pool by the pond is beautiful. The gym has a decent amount of equipment and a great view. It does seem that they’re more geared to the retired and Canadians- love that but we attended a line dance class and the instructor told us it was for people who already knew the dance 🤪 needless to say we only attended the one class ( myself and 2 kids under 10) . Other than that brief experience, everyone and everything else was lovely. They’re working hard to fix all their damage from the hurricane so give them grace .

We are TT TC+ members and consider ourselves fortunate that this park is part of our program. There are a combination of trailer homes, and RV sites that are well maintained. Still a little Hurricane cleanup going on, but they are getting stuff done. The staff are very pleasant to interact with, and always make you feel welcome. The people who use this park seasonals/weekly/snowbirds were always smiling and cheerful. Plenty of activities inside the park, with text notifications when things are happening. The staff should be proud to be part of this place. No charge for package delivery like other encore parks, which is nice. Only downside is proximity to the highway and traffic noise. But you cannot blame that on Encore.

Fun place to stay. Large community of full timers or snowbirds here. Lots of activities! Park is very clean and well kept. Very nice landscaping. Staff is friendly, responsive and helpful. Downside is the highway noise. Other than that, the location is convenient to alot of shopping and 30 minutes from beautiful beaches!

Very very disappointing for the price! Charged additional for electricity, had to purchase our own Internet service because the park’s was too weak, must take your garbage to the dumpster, VERY noisy due to proximity to I-75, small sites with little to no privacy!! Laundromat requires use of an app rather than coins, which meant wasting $, because had to add to account in minimum of $5 increments. Also, horrible customer service!! Marge in the office informed me at 8:59 AM that the office did not open until 9:00!! We then had to wait 10 more minutes for propane, even though we had been assured someone would be available at 9 AM!! Will never stay at this park again and probably not at any Encore location!!

We were going to have a good time with our RV to get reacquainted with it. We had a nice time, and left the next day. It's a really nice park, and the people are super. Very accommodating.

We come down to visit family that lives in the park every winter, and we absolutely love it! Everybody is incredibly nice, welcoming, and helpful. There are two heated pools, a hot tub, a couple of locations for public showers and public laundry. There is also the Clubhouse which hosts events several nights a week (including Bingo on Mondays, which is our personal favorite!) which typically have dinner served beforehand, that also has a library/media room, pool amd ping pong tables, and a small gym. The location of the park is also great because it's near many gas stations, fast food restaurants, and the major highways, so you can get to places you need to go easily! I would recommend Encore to anybody looking for a place to stay in the Brandenton/Sarasota area.
