An old favorite with a fabulous view. I have been coming here since childhood. With my sister visiting from Arizona we explored memory lane of 60 years ago at KDPS tower. However our visit was marred by a dog owner incident. Entering the lower level of the tower a leashed dog and owner stood by the base of the ladder. I requested she move the dog away from the ladder as I felt fearful of this very large dog in spite of her reassurance of its docile nature. She did not move it until I forcefully insisted. I was able to put it out of mind and enjoy this beautiful park in spite of feeling shaken and fearful from the encounter. Please owners remember not everyone loves your dog and some people in public spaces are fearfull due to insensitive negligent owners behaviors. It's not the dogs I hold accountable.

Very beautiful place. Wouldn't go when it's freezing out. It's a mile hike to the tower it's really cool.

The tower was so worth going out to see. We decided to walk, only mile. However, they neglected to mention inclines and declines. Carvings and maze were neat also. A nice maintained park perfect for exploring or family get togethers.

Such a cute little city park near downtown. We loved the Cutler-Donahoe Covered Bridge and Clark Tower. The playground even has covered bridges entwined in the jungle gym.

This is a great little hidden gem. There is a lot of secluded walking and it's a pretty area. There's a large picnic area with several shelters and seasonal bathrooms. There is a new camping area with lots of spaces. There are also several new, very nice playgrounds, including a huge inclusive playground, custom designed with a covered bridge and replica Clark Tower. This park is worth the visit for anyone with kids in the area.
