First time camping here and the staff at the check-in desk were super friendly at both check-in and when I went to ask if I needed to check-out in person (you do not need to check-out in person). The bathrooms were also very surprisingly clean (automatic flush) and have showers which were also clean. Other campers were all super nice, whenever I passed someone whether it was a child or adult, they would say hello. Beautiful trails overlooking the lake as well.

Lovely campground. Great camp hosts. Amazing find inside of a city! Some of the 30 amp that are marked for tents are kind of serious about that. You CAN tuck a small camper into most but not all due to plenty of trees to dodge!

For the location it's very nice. The only issue we had was the electrical box was have maintenance issues. But they took care of us and got us power. They also need a second shower house on the opposite side of the property just to alleviate some of the waiting up at the other one. It would also take away some of the portajohns

My family and I reserved 3 cabins for our family reunion and my mom's 72nd birthday. We had a great time..The cabins were small but manageable... spent majority of our time outdoors... facilities were very clean...the park had a lot to offer... overall we really enjoyed the experience

We had a fantastic time camping at Winton Woods Campground and enjoyed the tree cover and shade for our tents. If you are bringing hammocks, ask for sites with tree spacing that work well for hammocks as there are a few. If tent camping, be sure to place your tents on the higher spots in your site as the clay soil doesn't drain well and can have puddles forming. (Use a tarp or ground cloth under your tent.) This was a great location that is an hour from the air museums in Dayton to the north, the Ark Encounter to the south, and there is a great zoo in town that we didn't have time for. The kayak and Canoe launch site is a great fishing spot as well. God bless and thanks for a great stay!

Really nice state park, close to Cincinnati and everything you could want or need. Super busy on the weekends so make your reservations online well in advance. They have a canoe/kayak launch point from inside the campground.

Great! Stayed in a tent, very clean campground, great facilities, easy check in, plenty of hiking trails, and I'm pretty sure the camp-store has ice cream!! I went on my spring break in late march, very quiet, I was one of the only ones at a tent site. Can't wait to return! The wifi also worked great, no issues, perfect for the handful of times it rained during my stay!

Winter camping here is lovely. Got in late but that wasn't an issue. Potable water easy to find to fill up our tank. Got parked and set up in no time! May need to come back during the summer so many amenities closed because of winter that could be good fun!

I really enjoyed my stay at Winton Woods Campground. The sites are very well kept up, the staff are exceptionally friendly, the bathrooms were well maintained, and the shower had decent water pressure. The front desk area has a lot of camping and food items for sale. I really enjoyed the paved bicycle trail, took me on an easy 5 mile loop. Some of the photos are from the bicycle trail. Plus as a bonus for me, their laundry equipment was cheap to use, did a great job cleaning my clothes and I didn't have to wait to use the machines.
