My family and I reserved 3 cabins for our family reunion and my mom's 72nd birthday. We had a great time..The cabins were small but manageable... spent majority of our time outdoors... facilities were very clean...the park had a lot to offer... overall we really enjoyed the experience

Too expensive for electric only and one bathhouse for over 100 sites. Campers trashed the bathhouse by rubbing walls and floors with feces everyday. Not impressed! Boat rentals closed for the season and lacking amenities.

Our family of four from Michigan went on a summer during the week for 3 nights. Our main purpose for being in the Cincinnati area was to go to the zoo. This campground was great for being affordability close to that and more. It is a quiet wooded oasis in the Cincinnati suburbs. Because it was the middle of the week, there was hardly anyone camping. It also seems like there wasn't much to do around the camp. It was over 90 degrees during our stay. There is no beach despite being on a lake and my kids have outgrown splashpads. We did find a city pool an 11 minute drive east. The bathrooms and showers were clean but I am surprised they only have the one shower house for so many sites. The campsites varied in amenities and sizes but the descriptions online were right on. I would say not to bother with most of the lake/waterfront sites as the vegetation obstructs most of the views. The staff was nice and the camp store was well stocked. The lack of real firewood was different but the weird compacted woodchip log things seemed to do the job. Overall a very good stay if you want to be near to Cinci but still feel a little away from it all.

We had a fantastic time camping at Winton Woods Campground and enjoyed the tree cover and shade for our tents. If you are bringing hammocks, ask for sites with tree spacing that work well for hammocks as there are a few. If tent camping, be sure to place your tents on the higher spots in your site as the clay soil doesn't drain well and can have puddles forming. (Use a tarp or ground cloth under your tent.) This was a great location that is an hour from the air museums in Dayton to the north, the Ark Encounter to the south, and there is a great zoo in town that we didn't have time for. The kayak and Canoe launch site is a great fishing spot as well. God bless and thanks for a great stay!

This is a very nice county park. My family and I have camped here for over twenty years. It was recently updated and still has a few things being finished. Lots of kids around.
