Stayed at this campground for over 3 months while our new home was being built. The owner, Deb, was very visible, always monitoring the campground, campers and the sites. She has a lot of rules, runs a tight ship, and expects that guests respect other guests and her property. Her management of the campground is spot on. It's clean, well maintained, has an active social calendar, a rec hall, a pool, and an outdoor theater to name just some of the anemities. We found her to be most accommodating to our needs. It's her livelihood and her home. If she seems a bit short tempered, often stressed and sometimes maybe impatient, she's entitled. Managing a little city like Witch Meadow Lake Campground requires constant attention. She is truly a great owner and manager, once you get past her "frosty" exterior. Her staff, especially Donna in the office, make up for any of Debs "people skills." Everyone we interacted with was helpful, pleasant and courteous. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking a relaxing, fair priced, home away from home experience. From the amount of manicured seasonal sites, its apparent this place has been home to many for a good number of years.

I have been camping here on and off for nearly 30 years and I am now seasonal. This is the cleanest and best run campground in the area. I do hear complaints about the rules but those same rules make this an extremely quiet, clean, and safe campground.

We have Not had a friendly family experience at all. We have tried to do another summer here but the campground Manager Debbie is so rude, angry and does not have tolerance or a way of communicating respectfully. She changes rules for some and not all. Some people can have a dog while others cannot. She drives around in her golf cart yelling at kids while playing. Maintaining rules is one thing but harassing guests and their family members while on vacation walking, swimming, playing on the field is just not okay. She is so rude and inappropriate and we have never had an experience like this before anywhere else. This is not a family place. And it’s too bad because the campground is truly amazing but the stress and rudeness does not make for a good vacation spot

Our route took us through the area so we called that morning to book a spot for one night. Traffic caused us to run late. We called to let them know ahead of time and they were very nice about it. She left our info on the door for us. The campground is very pretty. Nice lake and very clean bathrooms and laundry. The campground is tight so if you have a large RV I would pass. Ours 30ft travel trailer was ok.

Campsite is level, roomy and has a layer of crushed granite making it very nice. The location of electric, water and grey water dump are very convenient. The store has a lot of great items for sale and the prices are reasonable. We swam in the lake and rented a canoe to fish. Great time for sure!!!we will be back.

Would like to comment about the dog friendly. Witch meadow has always been dog friendly. If you take car of your dog. They (and all the people camping) do NOT!!!!!want to hear your dog barking. They also want you to keep your dog at your site so it doesn't make other dogs bark in the campground. They clearly state this in their rules. If you cannot follow the rules it is your problem not theirs. Witch meadow has always been a great campground. I have camped there for many years.

Would not recommend this campground for dog owners, despite the claim of being a doc friendly campground. This is the only campground I’ve ever been to where you not permitted to walk your dog other than in the dog walking area. Also, the rules say you may not leave pets unattended at any time. So you can’t bring your dog anywhere, or leave them unattended. If we had been informed of this, we certainly would not have booked here.

We had our 1st ever family camping trip here and it was amazing! So many things for the kids to do, my daughter learned how to swim in the lake and got more comfortable on her bike. We loved being so close to the playscape so the kids could play on their own while also keeping an eye on them. We will definitely be back!

Great quiet place. Very clean and well kept grounds. Mostly seasonals here but they were all very nice. Sites were all clean and organized. People in the camp store were great as well. The lake is very nice with a nice swimming area. One of the better campgrounds we've been to in a long time. Will be back.

This place is the absolute most beautiful camp ground I've ever been to, the setting is so beautiful, so relaxing, and the staff are amazing. Witch Meadow Camp Grounds is the perfect place to escape from the hectic, busy, chaoticness of our daily lives, providing the atmosphere to achieve peace & serenity. Happy camping.

Upon arriving to the campground entrance, wow! Just so beautiful & welcoming!! We loved.every weekend we booked there. Very clean, organized and everyone was wonderful. We Intend to make this our "goto" campground forever. Yes, the food truck was awesome they have there and the pool is beautiful. The store has anything you need in a pinch. And might we say, delicious freshly baked cookies daily that are so yummy!! We thank Debbie & Donna for their consideration for us to be there and their kindness to fit us in . They are wonderful woman & aim to please everyone. There are rules enforced which make it the best safe, fun, relaxing, respectful campground to stay at. We can't say enough about this beautiful clean and organized campground. This 2021 year, was our first several stays here at this campground. Thank you again! We loved it and met so many wonderful people who are and will be our new friends forever! We truly enjoyed every peaceful moment there! Truly a fantastic campground!! I had the opportunity to stay here during the summer 2021 season (kind of like a base camp while I took the camper in and out a few times), this was one of the nicest campgrounds I've been to. It is apparent from how well maintained the campground and it's facilities are maintained that the owner takes great pride in her campground. She was always responsive to my concerns. The folks we met there were warm and welcoming, inviting us into the "family". If I have the opportunity to be in that region again I'd surely look into Witch Meadow as the place to stay.

Great place to visit! The lake was amazing! Very clean and the staff was friendly. The cove had great food and the Saturday night band was a nice treat.
