Beautiful campsite! Close to great hiking trails, hot springs and restaurants. Plus lots for the kids to do and explore!

I camped there in the treed section for one night. Two stars. No divider etc. But over the summer the beach campsite / tent sites are right above the Kootenay Lake. Good view etc. Four stars. The pub was closed. Good fishing store and marina. Four stars. No need for coins to shower. Fishing the lake is good if on a boat. Some shore fishing should be decently good as well.

Great location! We stayed in one of the chalets and felt they were a little outdated. We still enjoyed it and Terry, the owner, was welcoming. The only downside was that there was a family that would just not follow any of the rules in the pool area; they were drinking alcohol, diving and worst, pushing their pets inside the pool so that made us leave the area.

This place has quickly become a new favorite of ours! We initially felt a little hesitant booking our accommodation at Woodbury resort because there weren't any photos of the insides of the cabins/chalets on the website, so we weren't entirely sure what we were getting into. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The grounds are beautiful, and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing. Carol in the main office is incredible! Her customer service is out of this world- she talks to you like you are a familiar friend, and answered all our questions! The morning of our arrival, she called to let us know that our original booking, a chalet, needed an unexpected repair. Instead of simply rebooking us, they placed us in cabin #7. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and provided the perfect home base for our trip. We were so happy with our accommodation, we went to the main office and asked if there was any possibility of extending our stay by an extra night- and lucky for us we were able to! Don't let the lack of pictures deter you; this place is a gem, and they will take excellent care of you. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone, and definitely plan on returning in the near future! We also rented from the marina twice while we were there. The experience was incredible. Scott from the marina was amazing! He helped us get settled and ensured we understood all we need to know about the boat each day. He provided us amazing fishing tips, and really took the time to teach us and give us tips on where to catch the most fish! He even provided us with a freezer bag and ice to store the fish we caught! We can't recommend Scott and his service at the marina highly enough!! Thank you to the team at Woodbury resort and marina for an excellent trip! We can’t wait to come back again!

Enjoyed a great 3-day guys' fishing trip in our travel trailer. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful both at check-in and on the dock for a boat rental. Super fishing tips helped us catch a few mid-sized rainbows.
