Our daughter found Spacious Skies-Woodland Hills while searching for a campground for the 4th of July. We were very happy with our first visit that we booked 2 additional stay and even brought more family with us! Lots of fun to be had! We have already booked 2 stays for 2026 so far! Staff is more than helpfully and willing to help with any question or concern one may have. Campground is clean and well maintained. Restrooms are spotless. Can’t wait for the 2026 camping season!

This is a very special place! Some might say, “it’s out of this world!” We tent camped for 3 nights here in the fall. It’s a tranquil campground; the focal point of the campground is a large pond with great views from almost all campsites. It is a short drive from the main highway and there is almost no traffic on the gravel road. There are 2 dog park areas. The WiFi is spotty but who needs WiFi when you’re enjoying the great outdoors. The bathrooms are well taken care of. There are 2 shower stalls. Plenty hot, low pressure. We were here during the fall festivities and had a fun time decorating our spot with spooky decorations for the trick or treaters when they came by, and passing out candy. Our home in Colorado gets no trick or treaters due to how rural it is, so it’s nice to be able to participate in some Halloween festivities! We loved well-planned layout of this campground. It was nice how the activities for the weekend were posted, as well as flyers for local attractions. If we ever find ourselves back in the area, we would totally stay here again. And very reasonably priced!

We stayed here for the second time and the sites are great. Large and some even have decently sized dog enclosures. The fence could be higher but overall the whole place was great. My only issue was that the sites aren't very level giving us a really long step up even with an added step. The bathrooms are rustic yet spotless. finally the people were uniformly friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

The grounds were fantastic, and the staff was incredibly helpful. We had a great time playing the bag toss before settling in for a wonderful campfire. As a tent camper, I often get asked about shower facilities when I go camping. When I say bathhouse, they cringe because they've had some terrible experiences, but the bathhouse at Spacious Skies was kept so clean. Taking a shower there was actually relaxing. The countertops were clean, making it easy to put my toiletries out, and the bathroom had a hotel-like feel. The shower curtains were also clean, and there was barely a spider web or bug flying around. Our visit was the first week of June.

I had a great stay at the Woodland Hills location. I have 2 dogs and the cosmic k-9 site was FANTASTIC!! I am used to camping and having my dogs on a lead when they are outside with us and getting tangles up and this made it so nice. They were outside with us, but not tripping us and under our feet while we were eating. The sites were large - I also have 2 kids, 5 & 6 and they bring bikes and scooters and we have an easy up that we put on our site as well and there was still plenty of room. (Also our trailer is 38ft. for reference) The staff were all so friendly, and the pool was great! This is a place we would love to come back to again.

The site was nice, full hookups for a good price. Pool is new, clean. I signed up for the cosmic campers loyalty program for the late checkout (which by the way is only an hour extra)... 15 minutes before checkout one of the staff asked us if we were packing up yet to leave. Which was obvious as almost everything was packed and vehicles were running. We explained that we were and they told us we were past checkout time. We let them know of the late checkout and they said "well you have to let us know," which we did. There was a breakdown somewhere with staff communication. I just thought it would have been less accusatory to just ASK if we had let anyone know. Maybe I was just cranky after camping all weekend with 3 kids. Overall would stay again.

We spent a lovely two nights in one of the retro RV’s in the campground. It was quiet and a relaxing place to relax after the wedding this weekend. The pool was comfortable and there were a lot of little activities to fill your day. Of note, there was no salt, pepper, or olive oil in the full kitchen, so if you plan on cooking in the RV make sure to bring those. Overall, it was a great experience and we definitely would stay again.

A very nice low key campground. We stayed during the week and it was very quiet. A big shout out to Laurie in the office. She was very helpful and super friendly. My grandkids enjoyed the beautiful pool, paddle boats, jump pillow and rock mining. We stayed in our travel trailer and my daughter rented the blue retro trailer. The grounds crew worked the entire time we were there (6 days) maintaining the property. This campground is about 10 minutes off I90 and would be a great layover on a long road trip.

Everything about Spacious Skies Woodland Hills is delightful! The campground is beautiful and secluded. Sites are great and private. Gorgeous pool! Will definitely stay again soon and recommend to all the campers I know! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The Heart and Backbone of Spacious Skies – Laurie & Paul! As a seasonal camping family at Spacious Skies, we've had the pleasure of getting to know some truly incredible staff, and two of the very best are Laurie and Paul. Laurie is, without a doubt, the heart and soul of this campground. She’s unbelievably kind & helpful, and always going above and beyond to be as accommodating as possible! She's always dreaming up creative, engaging ways to bring campers together and make everyone feel welcome. Her most recent event, Christmas in July, was nothing short of magical — complete with a special visit from Santa, homemade cookies, festive reindeer hot chocolate drink mixes, and printed photos with Santa delivered/shared with participants the same day (just to name a few of her endeavors of the weekend). Her energy, thoughtfulness, and passion for making memories are what make Spacious Skies feel like a true community. And then there’s Paul, one of the hardest-working and most dependable maintenance team members you could ask for. He can fix anything — and does it all with a smile and a great sense of humor. His good old-fashioned know-how and willingness to lend a hand, no matter the task, keep things running smoothly behind the scenes every single day. He’s a true asset and a big part of why everything at Spacious Skies functions so seamlessly. Spacious Skies wouldn’t be the same without Laurie and Paul. They’re more than just staff, they’re the heartbeat and the backbone of the campground, and we’re so grateful for all they do!

If it were possible to leave 0 stars I would. Bathrooms for the past month (9/2021) have been filthy. There was a boil water order that apparently was because the septic system contaminated the wells, yet they never took the initiative to tell us. WE only found out a couple days later from other campers, not from the management. We never drink the water there because we always used bottled, but we did give it to our dogs an incurred a $200 vet bill because every weekend after camping one of our dogs would have 3 days of diarrhea. Once we found out about the boil water order we gave the dogs bottled water. Problem solved. The manager, is an empty chair who is clearly out of his element. I mean seriously, if the people you hire to clean the bathrooms don't do their job, isn't it then the managers job to see that it gets done and then inspect to make sure? Well that's not happening. Maybe in a year or two they will get these issues worked out.

Friendly office person but not aware of our online reservation then allowed us to head to our pull-thru campsite that didn't exist. Had to back into the site next to it. We felt an undercurrent of hostility from the seasonal campers towards us. Our waves were returned with scowls. We would stay at a walmart next time and feel safer.

Clean, friendly atmosphere. Horseshoes, playgrounds, game room, washer & dryers, small store with milk, butter and eggs, and wood. Check out not until 11am a huge plus! Free wifi (bad weather will affect it). 30 amp reliable service. Little beach area with paddle boats. Activities every weekend. Great place for a family or if you're looking for a quiet getaway.

Only spent one night w/friends who had RV there. Beautiful surroundings and clean campground. I love this area and wish the weather had been better to allow us to hike, bike and explore more. I guess we'll have to go again- darn!

Took a chance on this place in an attempt to secure a seasonal campsite when everyone else was full. I was pretty nervous since we never staid there but from the second we pulled our camper in and then when we spent our first weekend there Friday we felt very welcome both by the owners/ staff and the fellow campers! The sites are a nice size and you are in with nature instead of just a cleared field and it was very beautiful! There was so much to do and my 3 small children enjoyed playing with some of the other children there even the children were very well behaved and respectful! My family is very excited to see what the rest of this camping
