The park was easy to find as long as you don’t follow your Garmin GPS. It is located just south of Estevan on highway 47 .There is pavement all the way. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic but you have to sign a waiver if you have a dog with you.. The interior roads are narrow and unpaved. The interior road signage is poor as are the site markers. Our site, 101, was a pull thru that was just long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp, water and sewer only) were to the left front. Distancing is close for a rural park. Each site has a table and a fire pit. Our site was flat at the rear but sloped up hill at the front. Because we parked our coach on the level . our power cord just barely reached.. Overall the park was pretty rough looking.. There is NO park included wifi or cable TV. We did not find any OTA channels. Satellite might be difficult. We did not use the washrooms or showers as they were closed for the season. This park caters to seasonals that park their rigs for the summer. Lots of speeding golf carts. There are trails from the park as well as Kayak and Canoe rentals on site. There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. We found this park to be an okay overnighter. We paid $61.30 per night inc the day pass fee of $10.00 and we feel we received poor value. We will check others in the area before coming here again

The park is beautiful but I can’t really recommend the campground for short term stays. I get that everybody’s definition of “camping” is different and if you’re one of the seasonal sites (making up about 80% of the campground) then I’m sure it’s fine. But if your intention is to enjoy the sounds and sights of nature, good luck. You’re sandwiched between large trailers with their loud air conditioners running and string lights everywhere making stargazing nearly impossible. The site I stayed in was uneven, small, had a broken picnic table and none of the fire pits have cooking grates on them. The showers are very small so you have to choose between keeping your belongings in sight or dry. The paper towel dispenser in the washroom was empty for 3 days. Basically really not worth the $60/night ($50 + $10/day mandatory park pass). But the park itself, especially the dog park, is indeed beautiful.

Super clean, staff very friendly. Convenient to town and border crossing. We chose the North Portal crossing because it was open 24hours per day and the Noonan Estevan closed at 5 or 6 pm. The Canadian website gave conflicting times. Also gas is available at the Portal crossing just not Top Tier.

Went for morning and sunset view, it didn’t disappoint! Breathtaking experience for me.

Well made maintained, picturesque dog park. With large fenced enclosure for larger dogs and smaller enclosure for smaller dogs. We are there every day.
