Woodmore Campground
Ronda Melendez Duprey
Spent July 4th weekend with family. We are up from FL and it was an amazing time. Campsites are spacious and clean, bathrooms and showers very clean. Love how they deliver wood to your campsite. Only negative thing I can say is some of the kids were rude. My niece and nephew were playing on the playground and the kids would not move at the end of the slide when asked nicely to move by myself the kids asked my niece and nephew if they were new here also kids speeding on bikes and electric scooters. Electric scooters should obey the 5 mile speed limit also. But all in all amazing time there!

1st time at woodmore and I will say felt more than welcomed here. Great campground very clean plenty to do. The owner Sam is a great guy, takes time to chit chat which i think is great, this place makes you feel at home! Will definitely be back

We spent 2 nights here, Saturday through Monday, recently. The owners and staff are absolutely wonderful - friendly, kind, and helpful. We nabbed a pretty private site on the lake with no neighbors and a short bathroom walk, and had a wonderful time. We rented a couple small canoes, enjoyed the pool and playground, and appreciated the firewood delivery! It's a huge campground with a lot of people, but we didn't have any trouble at all with noise or overcrowded facilities/amenities. Would definitely recommend!

Campground was amazing and friendly. Pool was clean. Kids enjoyed Santa in July. They have a mini green monster field, canoes and kayaks. Delivered wood to site, and as long as you were respectful and quiet they didn't put your fire out and tell you to go to bed. They ensured the safety of our kids and others by being sure you adhered to on-site rules and no speeding. Kids come first while on bikes. The only incident was someone coming in late at night to the campground, driving faster than posted, and was asked to leave. The owners were kind, considerate and all around a great ran campground. Keep doing what you're doing, we will very back!!!

Wonderful campground for families. Easy check in, and a 3pm checkout on Sundays is perfect for maximizing your time there. We loved the campsite itself, private enough and big enough with a table and fire pit. The $10 fire delivery is a life saver. My kids really enjoyed biking around, going to the playground, the pool, and the lake. All around great experience. Highly recommend it!

I heard a person mention the partying. Unfortunately it does happen but the good news is if the seasonals get to out of hand there is a lock down policy in order. A drunken parent will be guaranteed help finding their small children!

Just got home from Woodmore campground. Enjoyed our stay. Clean, safe family oriented campground. Really liked the wood delivery. Nice touch. Only drawback was the late party people that where hitting it pretty hard all weekend. Management was all over them. Especially was impressed with management stoping by in the AM to apologize for the noise. “We don’t allow that behavior here”. Appreciate that from them. We will be back. If your looking for a quick weekend getaway or longer stay this is the place.

A family owned campground, it has a very large in ground pool, horse shoes volley ball, hiking trails close by, and boating! Clean and quiet! Very good prices!

We have been coming to this Campground for over 10 years now. We initially rented their cabins and now that we have a travel trailer we stay on their RV sites. The campground consist of 125 sites, some with full hookups and cable some with 30 amp and 50 amp hookups, and then there are some tent sites. There are sites that can accommodate all sizes of RVs including class-a rigs . The campground is located in the woods and so it is nice and shady. Most campsites are gravel and all have a fire ring. There is no fire out time as long as you obey the quiet times. There is a safari field that can accommodate large groups of campers which has water, 30 and 50 amp hookups and a very large fire ring . There is also a dump station. Amenities include in-ground pool, full arcade, beautiful Wiffle ball park built to resemble Fenway Park in Boston, basketball court, bocce court, and a nice outdoor Pavilion that they stage many fun activities at including live music. Most sites have cable and up at the office area there is free Wi-Fi . The campground is family owned and operated by Chris and Sam and they are wonderful people and take great care of their guests. Firewood is available for a small cost and delivered to your site. During the season which runs from May through October there are activities for all ages every weekend. Nearby there is Walmart, and Market Basket for convenient shopping. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
