Park was very quiet and our spot seemed spacious. Staff was very friendly and the lady checking us in offered us a better spot, a pull-through vs our back-in. We also ended up with a covered table that we didn’t use because we were exploring all day, but it was a nice addition. She offered us several handouts for things to do and we felt very welcomed. Bathrooms and showers were the best I’ve seen at any RV park, almost spa-like. There is also a river walk on one side of the park.

A fantastic place to stay! This is one of the best RV parks we've stayed at. The people are very friendly, the sites are a good size, and they have activities for the guests. The bathrooms are wonderful! They are very clean and the showers are private and big. We had a river spot and it was so beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed meeting Linda a co-owner. She was very friendly and we look forward to staying here again. We highly recommend this RV park!

Beautiful campground on the Rio Grande. They had a nice walking area around the entire park. We were not onbthe river but one row back. We were able to bring our chairs and sit right next to the river. They also had little gazebos along the river.

Wonderful experience! We stayed here for 2 nights over July 4-5th on our way through Colorado. VERY accommodating, the space we booked (the only one available) was going to be a tight squeeze and when we arrived they promptly moved us to a very nice pull-through spot. Very clean and very nice bathroom/showers and laundry facility. Had wood and fire rings for fires. Our spot is spacious, has a covered picnic table and is very well planned out! Most sites have atleast a table, not all are covered. And full hookups! We stayed next to the kids playground so it was a bit more noisy than usual (and it was July 4th). But quiet time is at 10 and everyone followed the rules. The park is behind a residential area but IS on the river- don’t let the small drive past the neighborhood detour you from staying here! River access is easy and is nice to wade in or for older kids to swim in. Also good for fishing, not too fast in this area. Town is a few blocks away. They have a really nice Lowe’s grocery store and many neat restaurants! Very well managed property will stay here again! But prefer to plan ahead and get a spot on the river!

We will definitely stay here again! We stayed in R1. Easy access with 5th wheel and slots were pretty level. Fire ring with provided firewood. Very nice cement walking trail along river with picnic tables and benches scattered near river. Bathroom/ shower was spotless. Grounds were mowed & trimmed throughout. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend!

So I've been there long term and usually kept to myself. That being said I also own a business in montie vista. When we first got there prices were very reasonable however the owner went up 160% with little or no warning. Had service improved at all I probably would have lived with it but the wifi never works and in winter forget about water our pipes stayed frozen the dryers barely work and the place is way overcrowded for the services they have. Several times I took my time to repair them just because I was tired of them being broke. Now on a personal note I happen to be a combat vet with a purple heart we offered to host several vets while they were traveling through Colorado and when we asked the owner he simply stated he didn't want those types of people in his park. I have a hard time recommending anyone that doesn't support vets. The management there always stated that the prices were the same in south fork so my advice is do just that. South fork parks have way better scenery and service as well as a better population Del North is a rather run down community as you'll see pulling in as well as much more reliable services. My guess is they will even give vets a small break instead of bad mouthing us.

We were originally suppose to stay in the meadow sites. Once Linda saw our 39ft rig she offered a few different sites. The meadow sites are tight even though they offer full hookups we opted for the river side sites, you’ll have to drain at the dump station on the way out. The road into the park is unpaved. Nice little park, lots of potential. Linda is a great host. If you do stay definitely recommend river sites. You’ll have heaps more room.

Loved this campground. We had a river site right by the gazebo (R14)! It was beautiful and relaxing. Very rustic for an RV park. Very friendly staff. The laundry and bathroom facilities were very clean and well kept. I would definitely recommend to anyone passing through. We are from Michigan and if we are ever in the area again, we would definitely revisit!

Woods and River RV Park was a great stay. We were on a pull through site next to the Rio Grande River. The trees, walking path, and sounds of the water made the stay very peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We felt as though they worked around the clock to accommodate and take care of the campers. (Even completing a camp wide mosquito spray). It appears they are in the midst of doing some improvements to the grounds. We would highly recommend a stay here and will return in the future.
