2 stars for location convenience. Other than that, wouldn't recommend. If you don't stay a week, it's expensive per night & not worth the price. Other than having water, electric, & sewer, there was nothing else worth mentioning. No one answers the phone or is in the building to talk to. Seems like most that stay here may be permanent residents, or at least stay for long periods of time. Close to the road, so can hear traffic. Late one night, the owners? (at the house in front) had their diesel truck idling for about 30 min- an hour. Sites are very close together with some of the "fire pits" right next to the other sites sewer. On a positive note, although we didn't use the bathrooms, I did peek in & they looked clean & felt warm. 2 each of women's & men's with private shower & toilet in one room.

Some camp sites are huge, and others are tiny. There is no playground, as child free people this didn't matter to us but Littles could get very bored here. The driveways are all pretty rough, mostly gravel and dirt. There's no camp store or office. There's a building labeled office, but it's really just a whiteboard with wifi info and a park map. There are 2 laundry facilities with a total of 6(?) washers and dryers. The new bath house is very nice. There are 2 bathrooms on each side, and all were fairly clean. The pond area is nice and we saw several birds and large fish. Squirrels are very active, too. Convenient to I 26 and Columbia, while very quiet and tucked into some woods. We had no problems with cell or internet. It's mostly long term in the park, but everyone was friendly. Even though the owners appear to live (in the log home) on site we never saw them, or any staff in our 7 day stay.

Great location. Close to Harbison state forest has great trails. The showers need to be checked after guests. Guests don't clean up after using. So sad. Had very little interaction with owners but he was nice. No place to buy supplies on site. But food lion just minutes away. Very quiet and peaceful. No one man's the office.

My son and I loved fishing and walking around the pond. Bathrooms were clean, and the showers were great! There were multiple laundry rooms with decent prices, the wifi was okay, and the neighbors were friendly! The only thing we would have liked to see was a playground. It looked like there was one at some point!

A perfect home for my family for 6 months. Owners are kind and responsive. A quiet but friendly campground experience. Nice new bath house. Convenient propane fill service. Room enough to park and still have a table and fire. Beautiful lake with cool bridge. Would absolutely stay again!

It was pretty where we set up at, but no electric hook up close by. We had to buy an 100ft drop cord for our electric. The only water supply was in the sink in the restrooms. The restrooms didn't feel secure. No locks on main door to take a private shower. No door to shower, only a hanging curtain. My all time favorite camping spot is still "The Farm" in McBee, SC.

It's a small, older, crowded campground nestled among the trees and next to a small fishing pond. Mostly permanent campers reside here. Very quiet. Reasonable nightly rate (@$35). And the owners called me back within 2 hours of having an important question. I wouldn't recommend extremely large/long Class A's or those towing 2 items behind their rig to maneuver within this park, but we would return again ourselves.

Very cute, quiet little campground with lake. Back spaces are roomier than the front ones. It is easy to get to. Just a few minutes off of I 26. However, the very clean bathroom/shower house that they have advertised is very very wrong. It is so disgusting. I called and they said that it gets cleaned everyday.. I said there is no way the mold is caked along the walls!!?? Anyway they sent the hosts to clean in. They spent about 20 minutes. I went back in and it looked the same. The men's did also, my husband checked. These bathrooms would need ALOT of scrubbing which would take alot of time. Also a remodel would probably do better.

The campground is small, intimate, neat and well kept.. Barb and Gary are wonderful camp post managers. They take a lot of pride in the grounds and are always friendly. We will miss Woodsmoke Campground. Thank you for making our stay like home.

A very pleasant, quiet campground with ample space for our fifth wheel with slides. We had a nice shady spot, it looked like most of the sites were in the shade. Full hookups, very easy to navigate. Staff was friendly and pleasant. Will definitely stay here again
