We just returned home from Woolfey's Campground. We enjoyed the park, very clean, quiet and relaxing. However....when we were finished we took the Motorhome to the dumping station. Once completed, we were pulling out onto the road, when out of no where a white pickup truck cut us off and prevented us from leaving! It was a female staff member of Woolfey's yelling at me because we left the garbage can (that they provided) on site with garbage still inside. Wow!! They did provide us with a rules sheet upon check in, saying we were responsible for removing the garbage. However, the day before a man cleaned out our fire pit and removed our garbage from the can, so we assumed that was the way it was! I offered my apologies as it was an honest mistake. She continued to yell at me, saying as a business woman I should know the difference!! I don't even know this woman! She was throwing her hands up in the air, yelling. She said they havent picked up the garbage since Covid, yet the day before ours was removed!! She really upset and frightened the children in the Motorhome! There was really no need, over a bag of garbage!! I was mortified to say the least! I told her there was no need to be rude! She was like someone on a " Power Trip" Wow is all I can say!! It is clear that she is not a part of the " Lewisporte Welcome Wagon"! We did put in a formal complaint with The Town of Lewisporte. There are some people that really shouldn't work amongst the public. We will not return to Woolfey's, she really ruined our whole experience. 4 Star for the park 0 Star for this particular staff member

We stayed for 4 nights! Very tidy, clean and quite! Spacious level lots! Presence of security very evident. Would stay there again

We had the privilege of staying at your campsite and truly enjoyed the experience. The boardwalk around the pond is just amazing and now I realize what Newfoundlanders call a pond we call a lake (small lake perhaps). Just wanted to point out that there is a boardwalk going up to a beautiful lookout but unfortunately there are no signs or indication of the lookout path from the main boardwalk. I suggest adding a pretty sign and arrow to get more people up that way. Thank you !

Great park for an overnight stay. Excellent and knowledgeable staff. Clean washrooms and showers. Very tidy and level campsites for motorhomes. Great boardwalk trail. Very reasonable rates. A Plus

Lovely boardwalk around the entire pond and boardwalk up to a lookout spot where you can see most of Lewisporte. Would have been helpful if there was a map of the boardwalk but luckily was with a local person who showed me around. Also a trailer park nearby and beach. Lots of friendly people use the boardwalk. Would walk it everyday if I lived nearby.
