Loved everything about this campground and the available hikes in the area! Especially the one that leads you up to leg lake!!

A very fun place to play for the day. We fished. Played in the water. Had a little campfire to roast hotdogs at dinner time. We’ve gone up twice. Once on a week day and once on a Saturday. The weekday was understandably way less busy. Much cooler than down in Lander, a perfect way to escape the summer heat.

Visited mid-week in July. It was quiet and other campers respected the quiet hours. The bear box at our campsite wasn't very clean, but we kept food in the vehicle anyway. I'd camp here again without a second thought.

We camped here July 4 thru the 8. We had a great time. The camping spots are limited but we lucked out with a great spot. There are no hook ups for rvs. Well water and vault toilet. The camp host is great and very helpful. We enjoyed our time at worthen meadows.

Overall a pretty great campground. Ideal unquestionably for weekday camping to avoid crowds! There are two separate loops, the first of which I believe has 21 Campsites and we nicknamed Party Cove (super loud campers with little camping etiquette; chainsaws starting up 8am, metal detectors beeping and adults yelling by 9..on a Wednesday morning) and the second loop is 8 campsites on the SE part of the lake, at higher elevation and better views; a complete night and day experience with our super quiet and thoughtful neighbors once we switched it up and moved there. Absolutely beautiful setting! The campsites are very well established, there are *at least* 3 pumps for potable water dispersed between all the sites, and the outhouses were some of the cleanest I've ever been in. The bear box in the site was surprisingly incredibly handy as an extra countertop space. We tent camped and were very comfortable. Did return from fishing one evening to find an rv backed into our campsite, family unloading and attempting to take over our spot which we'd been in for 3 days...was a little socially uncomfortable but thats life. I will say, I've camped for many years, never seen so many RVs gathered in one spot. We were most definitely the only tent campers. Next time we'll be going further backcountry on 4x4 trails to avoid camping suburbia. Fishing good, but very small. Definitely more bites on the East end by the dam than any other part we explored.

Love it here. Quiet, good sites next to the lake, and great hosts at the campground. The outhouse is well an outhouse but at least you don't need to use pine cones if you forget your own paper.
