Very nice campground. The D and E loops are all full-hookups, making them fairly easy to navigate, even with our 41-foot 5th wheel. Lots of high pine trees and shade. Nice walking paths and a large enough park to bike around. This was our 4th time here and we really like the area. The only thing I would change is to get 50-amp sites instead of just 30-amp. With a big rig, 50 amp is much easier to use. We'll be back! If you are heading west to the Dallas area, avoid I-30 if you can. Lots of road construction, and what isn't under construction is terrible!

The esthetics, and everything is fantastic. Looks like a wonderful park. when you're camping there beware of the ants we were infested with them within hours of being there. Spent most of the trip trying to get rid of them. Yes, I know the outdoors has bugs. I spend most of the summer camping, and I have never had an ant problem this big, I'm talking thousands of ants.

Nice campground. Quite a few sites next to Lake. Saw many deer. Easy access to lake for bank fishing. Did not catch anything but also did not try hard. Temp was 97 with a heat index of 107. Would stay here again when not so hot!
