We have the camp all to ourselves. What a hidden treasure. Loads of water and hiking trails. Stayed last night on our way to Florece. The train in tge bsckground is present along with the major hwy 30 in the distance. But did not bother us. The crickets, fresh air and hazy sunset made up for it. Great bike trails also.

Nice campground with flush toilets. Most of it is shaded and we didn't have too much trouble with mosquitoes. There is a trail at the south end that leads to a waterfall and a couple of side trails that wrap around the ridge. The waterfall is quite a scramble so be prepared to get wet and climb things if you are determined to see it. There's poison oak everywhere along the trail. The only thing I felt the campground could have used was a dump for dishwater. You'll need to filter and pack out waste or just use disposables. Dumpster is near the restrooms.

Nice campground, lot of shades and quiet. First come first serve for $20 a night very good price. Ok restrooms, no shower but another nearby campground have showers.

We visited our friend staying at Wyeth. A beautiful and peaceful campground with pretty trails and a nice hike to a waterfall. Maintained nicely by the camp host. The bathrooms were clean and easy to access. The spots were spaced, so you don't feel crammed in there. The bugs were at a minimum too. It's very shady and relaxing to hang out. It was also close to the town of Cascade Locks where we grabbed a bite to eat. Drove over the Bridge of the Gods and back to get a nice view of the Columbia. We also visited the Bonnville Dam from there. A great central location to Camp.

Great for somewhat primitive camping, as in no hookups for RVs. Wyeth is conveniently located in the center of the Columbia River Gorge and only 30 minutes from the outskirts of Portland. Tons of biking and hiking in close proximity. Plan on continuous noise from the interstate and train traffic. Camp hosts are awesome! Water is currently unavailable (August 2023) so bring extra with you. Enjoy the shade and cooler temps, typically, other than heat dome scenarios which push temps to 100+ occasionally. Welcome to the new normal. PS: leave your firewood home as in NO campfires! Also a new norm!

Nice camping spots in the shade of the forest. Good hiking trails. Nothing spectacular, but we loved our one night stop here.

We tried a campsite down the road, viento campsite, and it was terrible because it was right between the freeway and the train tracks. This one was much quieter and the camp host was very nice. We would stay here again for sure.

Beautiful campground and the sites are nice and spaced out. Camp hosts were very friendly and kept the bathrooms very clean. Only downside was the noise from the freeway, wasn't bad at all during the day but was pretty loud at night when trying to sleep in a tent. We won't be back in a tent but once we get a trailer, we'll definitely be going back to stay.

Had the pleasure to host this cg in April 2021. It is a small well maintained campground amidst green foliage, tall older trees with a beautiful small waterfall on the back side of the campground about a 10 minute walk, with other trails to explore. . The sites are spacious, have fire pits, and grills.
