I had a great spot right on the river (which people raft down)#20. As someone else mentioned a lot of bugs. I have a pop up gazebo (Alvantor), so that really wasn’t an issue. The train track is right across the street and went by at about 9pm and in the middle of the night. Loud!! Trees were great. Temperature wasn’t bad in July. Rained, but it was quick. Bring what you need if you’re staying a couple days. There is a store and gas station, but expensive! They do have water and toilet. It was quiet. Ranger did stop to say hi.

We stopped here as we really enjoy the BC Parks sites as they are basic, but affordable ($21). Each woodland pitch is private and has the usual picnic table and firepit (wood purchased on site). It has pit loos dotted around the site, which were well stocked. It closes for the season in a few days time and there was plenty of space. There was loads of small wildlife around and we saw our first Pileated Woodpecker. The thing which amazed us was the wide array of mushrooms which were stunning. Great site and with 2 gas stations, a fab soap store and a just closed ice cream store make for a great visit a little earlier in the year too.

We went on the August long weekend with no reservations and we will managed to get a site. Sites were clean and spacious. Trees for our hammocks. The worst part was how close the campsite is to the railroad as we could hear the train and the whistle going by very late at night.

A nice campground between the Moyie River and the #3 highway . . . with the railway just beyond the road and train crossings with blaring horns throughout the night.

Absolutely our biggest surprise on our first part of a trip. We planned to stay by the lake, but there was no available spot by the time we arrived. We kept going west and took Yahk Provincial Park as our next option. Daniel was very friendly, campground super clean as I had a feeling we are at some high end golf course (yes, all raked and tidy). The best value for money we spent in last month. Thank you
