This is my absolute favorite place to camp! My dad is from Louisa, so I've been coming here for a long time. The Park is pleasant upon approaching the check-in booth. It's very clean and well maintained. Sites are peaceful and cozy. Not right on top of each other either. All sites, except hike-in primitive sites, have water and electric (20 or 30 amp service) hookups. Restrooms are modern and clean, as well as the shower areas. There is also a laundry facility on site, at the shower house/restroom building. The boat ramp for Yatesville Lake is just down the hill from the campground. There is also a marina if you prefer. There are miles of equestrian trails, and a parking area at the trailhead for trucks and trailers with horses. Finally, the Eagle Ridge Golf Course is located inside the park, just a few minutes from the campground. It's a beautiful, and sometimes challenging course, with some amazing views. If you're in this area, you don't have to camp. This Park offers a lot, for families, golfers, boaters, or fishermen. Only 10 minutes from Louisa. Definitely check it out. You'll be glad you did.

Pulled in at about 7 pm. Camp host was very nice and informative. We probably talked 30 min. Campers were very quiet and nice also. We was traveling on motorcycles and didn't want to leave to go to the store for food ( lazy and rode all day )lol. The cp host even brought us 4 hot dogs, sticks and some bread. It was a simple peaceful feast! I will definitely be coming back and probably with my lady and grandkids!!! Will be seeing you soon

Opened in 1992, 20 miles of multi use dense forest to hike, bike, backpack, horse ride. A beautiful lake for fishing, boating, swimming. An 18 hole golf coarse, and a campground. There is something for all ages and a great family place to be.

This is a wonderful place to camp. There are many camp spots that provide nearly total privacy with surrounding trees and rolling banks between them and other sites. The park is dog friendly and there is plenty of room for parking and bringing your toys such as boats or kayaks. Some sites are even accessible by boat only. There is a nice shower house with laundry facilities and there are several bathrooms located throughout the camp ground. They sell firewood and ice at the check in booth at the entrance. Most sites have water and electric (50/30/15 amp) available for RV hookup, and there is a sewage dump station located near the shower house. There is a nearby boat ramp for access to Yatesville Lake a few hundred yards over the hill from the park entrance. Yatesville’s campground is also adjacent to nearby Lawrence County Park which also offers campgrounds, a beach and swimming area, kayak rentals, a general store, miniature golf, and a lot of other amenities. Plenty of shoreline fishing is also available in Lawrence County Park for those who don’t have access to a boat. You can camp at Yatesville and still take advantage of the amenities offered at Lawrence County Park. There is also a larger golf course, Eagle Ridge, very close by, and horseback riding is offered as well. These campgrounds are also not too far from the main highway about 5-7 miles back where there is a Walmart close by for any essential supplies needed.

One of my favorite places to camp and get away. Beautiful Park, with nice, clean camp sites. Staff is friendly and helpful. Tucked 4 miles from Rt. 32, so noise isn't an issue. The Lake and Golf Course are also fantastic. The Lake is very big and beautiful. The Folf Course will provide you with gorgeous views, and some challenging shots. Only 12 minutes from Louisa. Well worth adding to your bucket list!
