Great place to stop-only here 1 night but if needed to stay longer wouldn't hesitate. Warm clean showers, affordable laundry, friendly staff, large park for our 3yr old, large clean dog run-very much enjoyed our stay thank you!

Excellent RV park for our one night stay. On problem: We had a 50AMP site and the 50AMPs were causing our HVAC units to not function properly for the drops in amperage. Other that that the place is clean, friendly and conveniently located. Kind regards, Steven Duran in Texas with the 25" Airstream Flying Cloud trailer

We stayed 10 days. Park is clean, friendly and well maintained. The private bathrooms are updated and spotless. Continuous improvements are being made that will benefit future campers. The park is conveniently located so that you have easy access to State and Federal parks or shopping in Idaho Falls. Highly recommend if you are just passing through or in the area for a longer stay. We will definitely be visiting again.

We discovered Yellowstone Lakeside RV Park while my husband was sent to Rigby for a work assignment. Most of the residents in the park are full-time, which gave it a unique community feel. I especially enjoyed chatting with our neighbor across the street—they were very friendly and welcoming. Pros: The staff was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and accommodating. The bathrooms and laundry room were spotless, well-maintained, and reasonably priced. The lot prices are very affordable, making it a great value. The sites are spacious and long, easily accommodating our RV, car hauler, and Jeep without any issues. Water pressure was excellent, and onsite propane was very convenient. Unlike many parks, we didn’t have to purchase a separate parking spot for our stay. We were able to visit two national parks within a 1-2 hour drive, which was a huge plus for exploring the area. Cons: The aerial view suggested there was a go-kart track, but unfortunately, it did not survive COVID and is no longer available. The playground was somewhat rundown and could benefit from an update—perhaps replacing the rocks and weeds with recycled rubber for safety and usability. There wasn’t a lot of activities for kids, so they mostly stayed indoors unless we went on adventures. The on-site dog park was initially unusable due to tall weeds and grass. Even after it was cut down, my dog collected thistles in her curly fur, so we ended up avoiding it altogether. We had a negative experience with a full-time resident who yelled at me to pick up my dog's poop while I was on a work conference call. I had already cleaned up after my dog, and I was also cleaning up others’ left-behind waste. Ironically, this same resident had her dog off-leash, which was against park rules. We also had a neighbor’s barking dogs early in the mornings and late at night. While it didn’t bother me much as a dog person, it might be a concern for those sensitive to noise or not fond of barking dogs. Overall: Yellowstone Lakeside RV Park has a lot of potential. The staff and site amenities are excellent, and the location provides easy access to national parks. However, the limited amenities in town, lack of nearby good eateries make me hesitant to stay again. We enjoyed our visit, but if you're looking for a lively town or a place with more activities for kids, this might not be the best fit. That said, for a peaceful stay with easy access to outdoor adventures, it’s a solid choice.

The park is very welcoming to people of all walks of life, be it for longer term living, or just passing through. Their bathrooms are immaculate, the water temperature and pressure are usually spot on in the showers and best of all everyone is a community in the park. While the name is a bit of a misnomer, it is in a very convenient location, close enough to the highway to make travel easy, but with enough distance that it stays quiet. I have enjoyed every moment of my nearly 3 years of living full time in the park.
