The staff at this KOA are top notch! I’ll call out Britney (?) and Janet personally as they made our experience more than we could have ever hoped for! The personal tips about the park let us directly to the wildlife we were hoping to see. Our site was amazing! Highly recommend this KOA for your time in Yellowstone and Grand Tetons!

When we arrived at our spot, I thought being backed up the the loud highway was going to be a big deal. Looking back, that was the least of our issues. The campground has roughly 600 campsites and cabins, with 2 working bathouses (the third was closed in preparation for winter). The campground was PACKED. The bathrooms were disgusting. Used showers as sparingly as possible. The first time was 2 days into my stay- filthy. Drain full of hair a sludge. Second time was on our 4th night. There were flies completely invading the bathouse. I'm not talking about a lot of flies- I mean thousands. When I told someone, she said it's because it was 'fly season'. Their only solution was to take the trash out- saying it's because someone threw food in there. Had anyone paid attention to the state of the facilities and cleaned them, it wouldn't be like that, each shower stall had no less than a hundred flies. I got a flyswatter from my van and returned to shower (but strongly considered skipping shower again because of the disgusting state of it). When I got into a stall (it happened to be the same one I used 2 days earlier), the same dropped bar of soap from days earlier was there, along with the same hair and sludge in the drain. Restroom sign says cleaning 'as needed'. Lies. Clogged toilets, no soap at sinks, poop smears on toilets remaining for days. It is obvious that no one cleans the bathrooms. If you're considering booking- don't. If you're already here and you HAVE to shower- don't drop anything you can't live without, don't lean on the walls, don't touch anything, and for the love of God- wear shower shoes.

Our family would rate this facility 3.5 - 4 stars. We had an opportunity to stay here right at the end of the season . So part of our stay was absolute chaos at the peak of the season and the last part of our stay was quiet , simple and lovely . The location is great but because of the proximity and amenities it caters to all walks of life . Infant to elderly it houses it all . For what is expected of this park it isn’t a bad place to stay! It has the kid must haves . A GREAT playground , families stay and every kid wanted to play together tag and hide and seek . It is great to see so many children play together effortlessly. It has a seasonal indoor pool. That is odd , I haven’t really seen an indoor pool close for a season and so early into September . But it is a great pool . The spots are large , clean -ish . Again this park is the stop for the largest , most visited national park in the US. They are constantly battling the weird, disgusting things a large amount of humans do . I watched someone in one camp site , walk to another camp site and throw trash in it, probably because they didn’t want to walk to the several dumpsters. Try staying on top of that every single minute of every single day . They do a decent job of it . The staff is nice , my son was rambunctious when we checked in from sitting in a car seat for hours and the gentleman behind the counter walked him around the store while I focused on checking in. It was a small gesture but it was a lot in a long day . The store was well stocked and had cute items . Overall for the things this park is put through , it is a nice lovely place . Try and avoid the peak season if you can . Weird facts you might need Washer is $3.00 Dryer is $1.00 Park bikes , single rider $10.00 for one rider bike , $15.00 for a 4 rider You will wait for a bathroom and shower in the peak season . There will be a large amount of toilets that get plugged from people. Probably not enough bathrooms for the peak season .

The showers and bathrooms were clean. The coffee stand was nice and had a decent variety. The store was well stocked with friendly staff. The indoor pool was great and the playground was awesome. The dog park was really nice with a great covered seating area. Great location. Close to Yellowstone. The little mining set up is adorable.

We stayed here during a family vacation to Yellowstone. The proximity is fantastic. The amenities are top notch! They had everything we needed down to the coffee hut. All the staff was amazing including the gentleman that filled our propane tank! Loved having the porch with a swing at our site as well as the fire pit. Tiffany at the front desk was so helpful, sweet and nice…just loved her!! We had our 2 pups with us so we took advantage of both off leash dog parks they had. The only thing I wish they’d had was a jacuzzi, but was told they’d gotten rid of it during c@v!d.

When I arrived I was faced with a manager wearing a kilt that thought he was Braveheart . Total control freak and he was quite condescending. Once I maneuvered around him it was ok

I feel as though the staff judged me from the moment I walked in the door. I am a boondicker and decided to stop here to pay to dump and fill water. I was denied service due to city ordinances, per rep at counter. Will not give KOA any patronage from this day forward. Support your local mom and pop.
