We were quoted $230 per night. I knew there were going to be taxes, but when my card was charged $285+cents for 1 night I was surprised. I called the day after I made the reservation to check why I had not received an email confirmation & the same guy told me the room was $235 not $230. I questioned why he told me $230 the day before, all he said was it's $235 per night. I should have canceled the reservation then. We paid $546.35 for 2 nights. The guy who helped me to make the reservation never mentioned that they charged almost $10 for using a credit card, $15 for reserving the room & some other charge for using gym & another amenity, but if we know we're not going to use any of the extra amenities, we shouldn't be charged, plus I was never told about, when I saw the person who helped me make our reservation, I actually expressed my dislike of extra charges w/o him telling me upfront. [I might have the amounts swapped, but I was never told]. The room is not worth $230 per night. The blue pillow cases [decorative] were dirty & kind of sticky. I wish we would have stayed in Cody [town] at Hampton Inn or other decent hotel for less money & better quality. People seem nice, but it was not worth the price... not at all. To be fair, this is a better place for camping/RV stay.

This place was amazing! If you want to connect with nature, this is your place. Your private cabin sits on the north Fork of the Shoshone Shoshone River and there are chairs facing it that we sat on every night watching the birds and the mountains. I would call it a piece of heaven. The owners and staff were all great as well. There is no TV stations but they have DVD’s. We never had time to watch anything, we were always outdoors.

Great location, with a beautiful view. It's a 30 mile straight shot into the East entrance of Yellowstone. Nice full service RV sites, bathrooms, and laundry. The restaurant was delicious as well. We didn't have time to make use of the gym, pool, or hot tub but they looked great. The free coffee bar and donuts on certain mornings were a nice treat also. Would definitely stay again!

A quaint little gem with friendly staff, a good restaurant, and nice amenities. We stayed in lodge 22 and were happy with our room. Our 12 year old slept in the bed in the little nook area, and he liked having his own space. The Inn is at a good location from the Yellowstone east entrance. We saw a grizzly bear on the way to the park. Ice was only $2.50 per bag, and they had some reasonably priced beer in their store. My wife and I enjoyed sitting by the river at night after a long day at the park. The pool was a little cool, but the indoor hot tub was cozy. My 15 year old son used the workout room and liked it. We booked the Inn's recommended whitewater rafting trip and we had a blast! I would stay here again with my family.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Stay at Yellowstone Valley Inn! From the moment we arrived, Yellowstone Valley Inn exceeded all expectations. The setting is absolutely stunning — nestled right along the Shoshone River with gorgeous mountain views in every direction. We stayed in one of the riverfront rooms and waking up to the sound of the river was pure serenity. The staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our entire stay. The room was spotless, cozy, and well-stocked, making it feel like a home away from home. We also had a chance to enjoy the pool, which had just opened for the season — a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. The on-site restaurant and bar were a huge bonus! Delicious food, friendly service, and great drinks made it easy to unwind in the evenings. We even caught some live local music — such a cool touch that added to the laid-back, authentic Wyoming atmosphere. The location couldn’t be better — only a short scenic drive to Yellowstone’s East Gate and close enough to Cody for extra adventures. Whether you’re just passing through or planning a longer stay, I can’t recommend Yellowstone Valley Inn enough. We’ll definitely be back!
