We had an amazing Halloween weekend at Camp Jellystone in Gardiner NY. From booking to checkout, every staff member we spoke to or enjoyed was friendly and professional. A lot of the activities staff are teenagers and they were polite, helpful and respectful. The cabins were spacious and spotless. We stayed in a two bedroom cabin with loft. The kids loved the sleeping loft! The kitchen and bathroom turned camping into glamping! The amenities and activities were fun and plentiful. Lots of Halloween fun. We will definitely be back in the summer to check out the lazy river and water park area. I highly recommend this campground.

Was disappointed that there was no trick or treating for the kids on the actual Halloween night, had it the following night after Halloween? Ceramics were high price to only get to the work area to paint and there was a small on variety of paint colors, no Black or White two Main colors. Only two sizes of paint brushes so it was very hard to really do a good job. I will say we enjoyed the Haunted Trail, excellent job by all who were involved. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our spot by the water with our trailer was also very nice and spacious!

We stayed 10/17-10/20 for my daughter’s birthday. We were not giving our VIP passes at check in. When we did get them half of the stuff was not open due to being off peek of the season. We were not aware that because a lot of people checked out on Sunday the store closed at 1 and there was no activity for the kids. Also was never told the store is not open at all today. Do not buy the VIP passes it’s a waste of money! And do not go during off peek (we went for Halloween) because there is nothing to do. Our cabin front room was freezing good thing I brought a heater with us. The water pressure was horrible couldn’t wash dishes and could hardly take a shower. While putting my own sheets on the twin bunk bed there was someone’s gross nail filer which made me believe the beds do not get wiped down after each stay. We stayed with another family and while booking we asked to be as close as possible and was told we’re there was nothing open when the cabin behind me and one over was not being used. At check in we rented a golf cart picked up and on the drive right down the block the golf cart died. Had to have someone come and push the golf cart back. While going to the haunted trail we were told to check in at one place had to wait which was fine but when family’s were called no one could hear anything. I had to go ask and was told that my family went through already when we didn’t and then when my husband wanted to take our golf cart we were told we were not allowed to drive it to the parking lot the women was extremely rude and nasty with her delivery.

Our stay at Jellystone Campground—affectionately known as “Yogi Bear” in our family—was truly wonderful. The cabin, situated conveniently next to the pavilion, was spotless, and the bathrooms and showers sparkled with cleanliness. We had a fantastic time enjoying the water park, the bouncing pillow, mini-golf, and all the other fun activities. One of the most memorable moments from our visit this summer was when I lost my phone. I asked a staff member on his golf cart if he could call my number while I searched. Not only did he immediately get down to help, but when other staff members passed by, they also joined in without hesitation. They all helped until my phone was found, making us feel like part of the Jellystone family. My whole family absolutely loves Jellystone, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit to our favorite campground!

I have to say the customer service at Jellystone was exceptional. In an era where customer service is generally awful, the treatment we received couldn’t have been better. Claudia specifically was amazing, very helpful, caring, accommodating. My in laws were unwell and couldn’t make the trip but she helped us deal with it with ease. She even called to check on us to see how they were feeling. She deserves a raise! The rest of the Jellystone front desk team was also very good. All competent and kind. I’d recommend Jellystone to anyone! But the front desk service really stands out. We’ll be back next year!

Claudia at the front desk was the best!!!Very helpful and kind. Our Premium Cabin was nice, but the water pressure was very bad, tough to wash dishes and shower!!! It was clean enough for a cabin but could have used a little muscle in certain spots. The kids at all the activities were pretty good, much better than a few years ago. All in all a very nice campground but as I said last year The Jellystone Franchise has gone a bit overboard with prices on the cabin stays.. I’ve been with the Franchise over 30 years on and off,and it is amazing how much it costs now!!

The Yogi Bear Campgrounds franchise is by far the best choice for families with kids. This specific location is one of the top and most outstanding when it comes to creating an amazing experience for children and the whole family. We come back every season, sometimes even more than once in the same season. Highly recommended! My only wish is that the prices were a bit more reasonable for camping, but aside from that, it’s an absolutely wonderful place.

Wonderful experience, great mix of activities to do. I recommend you grab the daily activities schedule. Beautiful landscape and play areas. If I could make one suggestion for an improvement is to add a baby changing station to the rest rooms. Was really hard Changing my baby after a shower with no table.

It is a great campground! Big, clean, organized, and super fun for the kiddos. The pool, lazy river and splash playground areas are clean and safe with an awesome staff of lifeguards. The chicken tenders and fries are some of the best I've had - make sure you get some! We did use the bathrooms and showers and they were well maintained. The water coming through our camper was pretty dirty, even with a filter, so definitely bring separate drinking water and plan to shower in their showers. It was a great campground with friendly staff and great amenities! Definitely recommend.

I have been here 3 times. Each time I watched it go downhill. My final time there at the end of last summer. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but after seeing how much the prices went up so much I had to write a review. This place was my favorite campgrounds to go with my whole family. There was a great laser tag which when I was there was closed because they didn't have enough workers to work it. Then the guns broke and they offered us some archery. Which we had to pay for. There were hardly any tubes for the lazy river. One beautiful day the water park was closed for maintenance. One night it rained and the enitre campgrounds became flooded. Careful where you book. Rhe fire dept had to help evacuate ppl. Nothing like waking at 3am because of all the commotion. After I called corporate they offered me 10% off my NEXT trip. Until a few things change there are other places to go that are all inclusive.

Campground is nice and clean. The facilities are very well done and look like a nice theme park actually. The staff was very friendly and the registration process was great! The gentleman at the front desk was very professional and a joy to talk to . So why only three stars? Well, we came to Jellystone for 1 night escaping the hurricane Henri. Unfortunately, we got caught up in the traffic leaving MA and CT which delayed us getting to the park till after the water park closed. And unfortunately due to some heavy rain in the forecast they closed the water park the next day. My kids were very much looking forward to the water park and were crushed when they couldn't play on it. It didn’t help that we had to put our family dog down the day prior and the kids were already bummed.we thought the water park would cheer them up a bit. With that being said, what I paid for the 1 night didn't justify me giving it 5 stars. Safety first! And I am sure that it is 5 star place but we didn't get to experience it and therefore the value wasn't there.

We recently had a 4 night stay on the red carpet river site #23. It was a nice back in sight that was right on the river. Sites are big and on cement parking area for camper in this area which made leveling a breeze. There was great family fun for all( some stuff geared for younger kids for sure). My kids still had a blast. They have a pool with cabanas if you are lucky enough to get one when you book and a decent snack bar which has some tap beer and canned beer and other varieties of canned alcoholic beverage and of course drinks for the kiddies

After years and years of camping here we will never go back. They have added so many campsites and cabins the amenities aren’t big enough. You have to get on line at 9 am to get a seat at the pool when it opens at 10am. The older cabins are not being maintained properly. When you pay 410.00a night you shouldn’t have to look at trim hanging off cabinets, wood rot on the porches and the door outside to be secure. There is no respect for fellow campers, the people next to us had their children run through our site even after being asked to have their children walk around the site. We were harassed by people who came half way through our week claiming we ruined their vacation because their friend wanted the cabin we were in and we should have moved for them. The staff was polite and helpful but the campground could use more help. We watched intoxicated parents fight by the jumping pad and the staff member had no idea how to handle the situation. The golf cart police stopped people that were on rental carts without the correct wrist band but let young seasonal campers clearly not of age drive their golf carts unsafely around the campground. With all that said our grandchildren had a wonderful time but it’s clearly not worth the money anymore. Update the older cabins, do not pack your campground and give people room to enjoy themselves at this once beautiful campground.
