We stayed for one of the Halloween weekends. The sites are a decent size and loved the indoor pool. This is the first time at this location so maybe it was just a bad time to visit but the issues we had were.... 1. They don't deliver wood to your site unless you are buying at least 4 bundles. This is unusual because for one, this is a large park and for two even the cheapest campgrounds are willing to deliver firewood. I've never seen a minimum requirement. 2. They charge for every single activity except for the hayride and haunted trail and they don't provide a price range so you just show up and find out in which some are cash only so make sure you have cash. 3. The staff is not really willing to find out or point you in the direction of anyone that can help answer your questions. They just tell you they don't know. This did not just happen once, this happened with a few different employees. 4. We didn't see any of the bears anywhere in the park or at any activity. I guess the only way to see the bears is to pay for a visit from them. It was not hot so not sure what the deal was but very disappointing and not typical for a jellystone.

Love coming here for Halloween camping weekends. The haunted trail is fantastic. It's so fun to see all the creative campsites and costumes and everyone just being friendly and all here for the true camping experience, where kids can be kids and make new friends. This feels like the last bit of true Americana that is left, and it's so well worth it. Happy camping everyone!!

First time at Jellystone and I was taken back by the amount of activities for the kids. The golf cart rental was great. Staff was amazing. Comfort stations were large and clean. Trash being picked up right off your site was perfect. More expensive than other campgrounds but well worth it in entertainment.

Our experience at Jellystone Barton Lake was not as enjoyable as we had hoped it would be. This is the third Jellystone campground we have stayed at in Indiana this past year and it was our least favorite. The shower houses were not clean, the staff was not helpful or particularly friendly. We asked a few staff members questions over the weekend about specific activities or hours/restrictions and no one seemed to know the answer or even willing to find the answer for us. The 5 mph speed limit is not enforced as it should be for safety. The property was not very well lit, which made taking small children to the bathroom in the middle of the night a bit challenging. It seemed like almost every activity (including the bears or not) cost an additional fee. Even the night time hayride cost extra. Which is not what we've experienced at the other Jellystone locations in the past. After spending almost $1000 for the smallest cabin and golf cart rental (which you will want because the property is huge and there's not much parking available anywhere) for the weekend, you would think most activities would be included for free. We likely won't return to this location. I hope if you visit you have a better experience. I do want to give a shout out to Abbey, that works at the food counter in the ranger station, she was the most friendly and helpful staff member we encountered during our stay.

The kids always have a great time at this campground. Great place to come and enjoy swimming and water slides. The bath houses definitely need remodeled and cleaned more than twice a day near the pool. Would also be great if the trees were trimmed at the campsites to allow campers to park without hitting tree limbs. A chain saw on a stick and someone to run it would be great! Overall we had a great time but will probably book a full hook up site next time to not have to deal with the bathrooms.

This was literally the best vacation we have ever taken. We had SO much fun we are staying here again this summer! There is so much to do here that you can easily fill an entire week with activities. Most of the activities are free and even the paid ones are extremely reasonable. They really go above and beyond to make your child’s experience unforgettable. We go one step further and get our kids their “Fun Passes” where we get to save money and do more activities.

We absolutely LOVE Jellystone Barton Lake. My husband and I grew up camping here and we are now creating the same memories for our kids! We did the spring camp and store this year and have loved heading there every weekend and our camper already being there. The staff is so friendly and kind. There’s always some type of activity going on, and the waterparks? Holy cow! You cannot get this experience at any other campground or hotel! It’s always clean and well kept and you can tell the activity coordinator loves what she does. We are having our daughter’s first birthday party here! Thank you for multiple generations of memories, Jellystone!

Our stay at Jellystone Park Barton Lake was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and helpful. The campground was clean, well-maintained, and full of fun activities for the whole family. The kids loved the water zone and the jumping pillow, and we all enjoyed the themed events and visits from Yogi Bear. Our cabin was cozy, spotless, and had everything we needed. There were tons of options for recreation, including paddle boats, mini golf, and great playgrounds. It’s the perfect mix of relaxation and entertainment. We’re already planning our next trip back—this place is a gem for families looking to make lasting memories!

Very clean and friendly staff. We come here every year and bring new and more people with us to experience the fun here. Of all the campsites we have ever been, this is our favorite. We camp a lot each year and we make the long drive (for us) to come here at least once a summer. There is SO MUCH to do for all ages whether it’s crafts, horseshoes, swimming, riding bikes, arcade, game of kick ball, and more! We cannot wait until our next camping trip here! Love it!

Our stay at Barton Lake Jellystone Park was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we pulled in, the staff made us feel welcome and helped us get settled into our site quickly. The campground is incredibly family-friendly, and there’s truly something for everyone here. The kids had a blast with all the activities — from the giant jumping pillow and water slides to the daily crafts and character visits from Yogi Bear and friends. The lake was beautiful, and we loved spending time swimming, kayaking, and just relaxing by the shore. The pool area was also a big hit, and everything was clean and well maintained. Our campsite was spacious, shaded, and close to all the main amenities, which made things super convenient. The camp store was well stocked, and the staff was always ready to help with anything we needed. We also appreciated the quiet hours at night, which made it easy to relax around the campfire after a fun-filled day. Overall, Barton Lake Jellystone Park is a perfect getaway for families — packed with fun, great service, and beautiful surroundings. We’re already planning our next trip back!

It was a great time. Campsites are a little bit small.
