RV camping, so cannot rate on 'rooms', however, place is clean, upper rv lots are good size & offer W/S/E for decent price. TONS of activities for smaller kiddos. The riverfront bottom spots are where it's at, tho. With huge flat hang-out rocks, looking for rocks/etc, even your oldest kids will enjoy this lower area location. BTW, we found out there is a another access to the lower rv waterfront lots, so don't be intimidated by the lower access gate entrance.

Im writing this after staying 3 nights with my wife and 5 daughters in a rental rv.We started our search for a nearby place to camp a couple days and possibly get a "break " as I work 50 hours a week to support us.We got to our rv which i had handpicked for the location being right next to the pool and jumping pillow and playground. We got unpacked and had everything ready for a couple perfect relaxing days when we began to smell sewage.I had went to get firewood and when I returned my wife showed a drain overflowing sewage out the cabin next door. It had created a poo stream across our site between the rv and firepit.By this time the office was closed so we called the after hours number and the general manager came in about 10 minutes. Perfect...Really nice guy, moved us to another rv down in the seasonal section, yes it was very peaceful down there as most seasonal campers were not around but I feel like I didn't get the experience i paid for.The rv we went to had been closed up for a while with a few spiders and webs that freaked out the wife for a minute lol also it was only site without the grass mowed or had a grill.Like I said the gm was great and they did bring us a grate to grill on.This is not a complaint review by any any means, but moving to a different spot pretty much ruined what I was looking for during this trip and that was me being able to see my children at park ect. After having to move i spent the days walking back and forth to these activities that I paid alot to not have to do.It was supposed to be fun for me too. This is great park for families I just happened to run into a mishap don't let my review discourage you from going to this park.Im hoping to see at least a partial refund from management considering Sunday was lost due to us moving around and the inconvenience of the of the location. Our site was under Ormsby and hope to hear from management soon. Will update if hear from management and how they take care of situation:) UPDATE 7-29 Haven't heard a word or received a penny...sad UPDATE 8-8 Still nothing

We paid in advance for full hookups- when my husband set up our camper, there was no sewer connection. To his credit, the maintenance guy offered to come pump our tank out, and kindly offered the use of an extension cord- electric was more than 30 ft from our parking spot. Not that we were camping for the amenities, but our spot was in full sun, very low water pressure, no pad, so we had a hard time leveling, and a view of the maintenance barn. Very disappointing for the price. UPDATE: DH asked desk person, Joanne for a partial credit and she complied, and was very apologetic. Again, Paul the Maintenance man was very kind and helpful.

Our campsite location was great - R28, right on the creek. Our kid and friend’s kids had a blast playing in the water, even the dogs! Our complaints are with the service provided, attention to the campers, organization of the “planned” events, and changes in campsites without notification (even though we paid the lock-in fee). My husband requested upon arrival to have our tanks pumped and was told to ask in the morning and someone would be to our site to do so. I went to check-in to ask again first thing in the morning and was told they needed 24-hour notice, but they’d try to squeeze us in that day, no one showed up. I then asked again the 3rd time (the next day), and was told “we don’t do that service everyday, but maybe one of the maintenance guys will before they leave” - no one showed up again. We stood in line waiting for the 9:45 wagon ride on the Friday we were there, which was apparently “canceled” but again, no notification that it was and had some pretty upset kiddos. Computer malfunctions at the store left a quick trip that should have taken 5 minutes turn into a 10-15 minute wait. Friends had their power turning on and off all day while maintenance worked on problems in the campgrounds, but again there was no notice of this and no offer of a refund. No to mention it was the hottest weekend of the summer so far and they were left without AC for a lot of them time. These all seem like fairly simply things, I’m sure, but when you spend the money you do to stay the weekend somewhere, you’d expect more.

I’ve been coming to Yogi in Mexico, NY for years, and it’s always been one of our favorite places to camp as a family. We’ve made so many great memories here, which is why it’s disappointing to say that our most recent experience didn’t live up to the standards we’ve come to expect. There were a few things that really stood out this time. At one point, we were told to leave the store it closed and come back the next day just to use the arcade, which made us feel unwelcome. Thankfully, the manager quickly stepped in and corrected the situation, but it was still an uncomfortable moment and did not make us want to go back. The pool was another concern. It was dirty all weekend, with bugs, Band-Aids, and other debris floating in the water for days. I didn’t see a net available to clean it or a diving ring in case of emergency, which felt unsafe—especially for families with young kids. People were smoking IN the bathrooms and on many occasions they were filthy (both by the rec field and by the pool). I've never in my life seen it so dirty at these facilities. Even more concerning, there was a fight that broke out, and police had to be called. The family involved had reportedly been causing issues for a couple of days prior, yet it seemed like no action was taken until things escalated. They had been playing extremely loud and inappropriate music. I really hope this was just a one-off experience, because this has always been a place we’ve loved and looked forward to visiting. I’m still hopeful things will return to the family-friendly and well-managed campground we’ve known in the past.
