Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park & Camp-Resort
Overview
Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in Bradford offers a lively retreat for travelers looking for more than just a place to park their rig. This resort-style campground combines the nostalgia of the classic cartoon characters with modern camping comforts. Located just north of Toronto, it serves as a primary destination for families seeking an active outdoor experience filled with themed activities and a welcoming community atmosphere that encourages making memories.
Location & Surroundings
The park is situated in the scenic town of Bradford West Gwillimbury, nestled within the fertile lands of the Holland Marsh. This location provides a peaceful, rural backdrop while remaining conveniently close to major transit routes like Highway 400. Visitors can enjoy the lush greenery of Ontario’s vegetable basket, which offers a quiet escape from the urban sprawl while keeping modern conveniences and shopping centers within a short driving distance.
Amenities & Park Features
The heart of this resort is its extensive range of amenities designed to keep all ages entertained. Guests have access to a large heated swimming pool, a massive jumping pillow, and a challenging mini-golf course. For RVers, the park provides well-maintained sites with various hookup options. Children often enjoy the wagon rides with Yogi Bear and the daily scheduled crafts and games, making every day feel like a special event rather than a simple stopover.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
While the park itself offers plenty of entertainment, the surrounding Simcoe County area is rich with exploration opportunities. Nature enthusiasts can visit the Scanlon Creek Conservation Area for hiking and birdwatching through protected wetlands. For those seeking thrills, the world-class rides at Canada's Wonderland are a manageable drive south. Additionally, the nearby shores of Lake Simcoe provide excellent opportunities for boating, fishing, and cooling off during the warm summer months.
Who This Park Is Best For
This destination is ideal for families with young children who value a high-energy, social camping environment. Because of the focus on programmed events and communal play areas, it is best suited for those who enjoy a resort-style vibe rather than a secluded wilderness experience. It is also an excellent choice for first-time RVers looking for a structured environment with plenty of on-site support and reliable amenities to ensure a comfortable stay.

A safe and convenient camping experience near the city and close to plenty of shops for quick needs. Camp sites are very close together and there is limited privacy. Staff were nice and helpful and though we went during post season, there was still quite a lot of people. Most of the recreational events were done when we went, so we didn't get to experience many things, but it was still a good overall experience. There are plenty of sites so choose from, some with electricity and water, some without, plus RV spots. Yogi comes to visit every day, which is great for the kids. The negatives for us were the road noise, we could clearly hear it, or maybe it was something that sounded like road noise. The camp site sizes were also on the small size, enough for a tent and picnic table, but your neighbour is within earshot and like 10ft away. Also, a group a few sites down were having a full on party into the night. Security apparently spoke to them, but they continued, only turning off their music.

Thank you to the entire friendly staff for making our first family camp weekend a success! From the friendly staff to the clean camp site and washrooms it was a great experience. My kids loved that it was a Halloween theme weekend and enjoyed the trick or treating and the haunted house. Lots of activities for the kids, everything was pretty close for my small children to get too. Although the pool was a little small it was a phenomenal experience!

Desent size. Clean. Great activities for younger ones. Halloween weekend good haunted house. Find it a little pricey $15 for bag of wood. Bounce pillow only open for one hour each day. Pool is nice.

I loved it here. We stayed in a trailer which was a tight squeeze but very clean
