We had a great time here at Yogi! We stayed during November which was clearly their off season, but on the weekend they had tons of activities. There are a bunch of playgrounds and things for kids to do. 30amp didn’t work at the site and they offered to come out immediately to fix it. The woman at the front desk was so wonderful! We would definitely stay here again.

6th annual trip and love every moment of it. Unfortunately, we are close to phasing out of the tradition because teens are bored. If there is any way to incorporate more activities for teens, that would be amazing. Perhaps recruit and have them lead younger kids in activities such as arts and crafts activities, kick ball games on the play field. Flag football game, nature hikes, family scavenger hunt races (contestant must take a photo next to Yogi, holding a pumpkin, inside the rec center, inside a Gaga ring, etc. Or, have Pup and a Cup meet up each morning at 9 am at one of the dog parks. Provide a free cup of coffee for any adult who brings their dog to hang out at the dog run. Dog people like other dog people and need an excuse to escape the kids. Or, a pioneer woman themed event for women ages 16+. Bring a beverage and learn how to build a simple but flavorful campfire meal to feed a family of 4. Gather around a fire ring for a gab and chew. $5 pre-registration fee. Participants must bring bowl and utensil if they wish to try the finished product.

3 families came as a group & all 3 families were separated. And 5 campsites between us the whole time was empty! 🤔🤔🤔 My daughter on Sunday morning got called on about her dog being off the leash less than 5 minutes, but still at her site. We saw dogs without leashes all over the camping park on Thursday, Friday & Saturday. No one called them out! 🤬🤬. The women's bathroom & showers were cold the whole time we were there. Had to go to the laundry room just to warm up! They said No e-bikes, so we didn't take our e-trikes & we are elderly & have health issues, but there were plenty of e-bikes running around there. Many people on golf carts drinking beer & little respect for anyone on the road. Last but not least, we had people sleeping in their car right next to our camper & you'd hear it start, run a while, then stop. Then all over again, all night long. How disrespectful! Last, my 2 year old grandson got pancakes for $8.00 & they were burnt, he couldn't even eat them! There weren't even any grates over any of our fire pits to cook on. For the price each night that we paid a month early for, things should have been a lot better. Needless to say, I can't see us coming back. And I should put this out to everyone on Facebook! The only thing good was the full hookup & play grounds for the little ones's. I can't say anything about the water works & swimming pools because they were closed. Yours truly, RRT.

Our family had an okay experience at Jellystone Luray. The location is perfect for visiting Shenandoah National Park, which was the main reason for our trip. The cabin itself was comfortable, and the activities were decent, though they could use some updating, especially compared to other Jellystone locations we’ve stayed at. The real issues came after our stay. We were charged a damage fee for a supposedly broken chair. The photo they provided showed a chair in a maintenance facility, not in our cabin, and it was clearly not something you could have sat in without noticing. We ate breakfast in all the chairs the morning we checked out and didn’t have any issues — I also swept the floors before leaving and would have absolutely noticed something like that. We travel frequently and stay in hotels, Airbnbs, and other Jellystone parks, and we always take care of the places we stay as if they were our own. In all our years of traveling, we’ve never been charged a damage fee until now. The manager claimed housekeeping does a “thorough review” and said there was nothing they could do. It’s not about the money — it’s the principle. We know we didn’t cause this damage, and it’s incredibly frustrating to be blamed for something we didn’t do. Unfortunately, because of this experience, we will not stay here again and cannot recommend Jellystone Luray.

We had a great time at our spur of the moment weekend stay this summer. Upon arriving we were greeted by the friendliest front desk agent, Becky Allen. She was so helpful to us. Each time I entered the building and she was there, she felt like an old friend always there to help us and smiling. She said this job is her happy place and it truly shows in her work. She made our stay amazing. We had a great time having a fire, playing on the water slides, zip lines and jumping pillow. My kids cannot wait to go back with more friends. Already trying to plan our fall getaway there.

Visited here with my family and a group of friends. We rented the ranger retreat. It's a large older home with several things in need of repair. The largest of these being the air conditioning that does not work. We stayed for 4 days during the week. Day one we arrived to most of the TV's having no cable so no channels. Maintenance repaired them the next day but said nothing could be done about the Air Conditioning. The camp does have nice pools and places for kids to play. Overall if they fixed the air conditioning I would say the experience would be much better. Also experienced like many others have mentioned the water slides were closed during the week. I think there website could have used some more straight forward water slide schedule.

We love this park. The water slides are a highlight. So many amenities for the kids to enjoy and kept them busy everyday. Great on-site store and the staff was very friendly. Everything was well maintained and clean. We will be back!

This was our first time at a Jellystone campground and we will definitely be back. We stayed recently and were excited for our camping trip. Our cabin was ready to go when we arrived and we managed to just beat the rain unpacking the car and getting everything settled. We enjoyed taking advantage of the different activities around the campgrounds which are great for kids of all ages. We ran into an issue but the customer service we received went beyond expectations. We will definitely be back again. Hopefully without the rain next time.

We are seasoned campers that love Jellystone campgrounds ; however we had our first bad experience. This campground refused to honor a yogi reward certificate for the full amount of my 1-night stay that MET all the requirements stated on their website. I even called several days before our arrival to make sure I read the tiers and process correctly. Their reasoning was that they use dynamic pricing and although I had the right tier certificate they can charge me anything they want and also determine how much the certificate will cover. Classic bait and switch! We had just drove 8 hours so needed to stay plus we were beyond the cancellation policy. Unfortunately, the front desk rep said this is a big complaint from campers and that I was going to be one of many the manager would be calling to discuss this issue. I am choosing to not provide the names of the employees but I must say that rude, inconsiderate and arrogant describes my interaction.

Extra fees for a Reservation is BS!!
