Review is asking questions as if hotel. We had a camper at one of the temporary sites. Very nice. Easy to reserve, check in, check out, good campsite with water and electric hookups in good location... great experience.

We were here for 3 weeks and had an overall good stay, no issue with hookups. We were hoping the 2 hot tubs would still be running but they look to have been down for quite some time. Pool also closed but understandable. We enjoyed the pickleball courts, and walks through the paved campground. But-- be prepared for bugs! Flies, stinkbugs, ladybugs, and most unfortunately - bees. Sadly this hindered our full potential to enjoy the outdoors at our site.

This place was very nice with some minor issues. We were stung by bees the entire weekend. Some of us dozens of times over the course of 4 days. There wasn't a safe place in the entire park from them. We went the second week of October. The park was clean and the staff pretty friendly. Was disappointed we were told that the tent campers will not be allowed back for the 2026 season. The reason we were told is because "Tent Campers are generally messier" That's hilarious considering all of our sites were spotless when we pulled away and mostly all the RV and pop ups that were near us left 3-4 garbage bags each at the side of the road when the dumpsters were literally a 15 second drive or a 2 minute walk to reach them. They did offer a ton of kids / family activities for the holiday season. Trick or treat trail and hay rides. Haunted house......Oh....the haunted house......it was nice but was so close to our campsite and after 11pm they still had some moaning zombie track playing so loud that no one could sleep. Park is dog friendly which is sort of awesome. Some people had a yorkie killed by another dog one of the nights we were there. It was pretty awful. I recommend bringing well behaved dogs and keeping them leashed and attended too. Overall I wanted to give the place a better score but between the bee swarms and the fact that they don't want us cleanly tent campers any more I guess my review is sufficient. I hope that the park changes its policies and understands how many less visitors they will have. I wish them all the best and hope any of you who visit don't wake the evil from the Ancient BEEurialground lol.

This is an RV/ tent camping, so I did not give stars for rooms. This was the first time there. They have done a lot of work on the place. Friendly employees, they are very nice. and an easy hook-up for the sights. There are many permanent spots. Everyone there is super friendly. Our dog was in heaven. Great time had by all.

Nice campground and the seasonal campers are friendly and inviting. Definitely a place to return to. Only issue was the power. Mine and one of the neighbors kept going out. Had to reset the breaker twice. The third time I used my adapter and plugged into the 50 amp outlet. My brother tried plugging into the 50 amp outlet (His unit requires it) and the breaker wouldn't set. The park personnel fixed it and all was well. They may want to follow up on the note I left at the desk. Either way, I'd recommend the park to a friend.

My whole family has been camping at this park for over 27 years. My children grew up here and now my grandchildren are enjoying camping as much as my kids did. We went from tent camping, to popup camping, to RV camping and now we are seasonal campers with our own little piece of heaven at this campground. If you had a bad experience the last few years. COME BACK!!! We now an awesome manager who is very welcoming and accommodating. Jamie listens to all your concerns. He left the pool open past the due date because it was a hot month and made sure to have enough chemicals to do so. Sun retreats, Brian, Chris and Jamie have done so much in the past few months to not only improve the park, but to improve moral and cultivate a sense of community. I see Jaime always working and driving around fixing issues and just checking in on everyone. If has has an issue, he will come talk to you in person to come to a mutual resolution. It's called respect for all his customers. PLEASE try this park. You will not regret it. Make lasting memories with your family. I highly suggest becoming a seasonal. For what you normally spend on one family vacation, you can become seasonal and have vacation every weekend. Enjoy while your children or grandchildren are little.

Great campground. Pool was closed for the season but the playground and jump pad kept the kids busy. No activities since it's late in the season but they did keep the activity center open and there's plenty for the kids to do in there. Site was gravel but was level. Been to this campground when it was a Jellystone and this was the first time here since sun outdoors took over, everything was great. Bathrooms/shower house was nice and clean. Staff was also friendly. Was attending a softball tournament in the area and this campground was perfect for that. Will be returning and do recommend this campground.

We recently moved our travel trailer here from another campground that we were at for 22yrs. We're enjoying it so far and feel we made the right decision. This campground is a work in progress and we feel that Jamie, new park manager, has a handle on it and will continue to improve it.

Our family of four stayed in a one-room cabin near the main office this fall and had a great experience! I am not a fan of camping, so the air conditioned cabin next to the restrooms is more my speed. The campgrounds had great amenities, incredibly friendly staff, and pretty clean restrooms. The showers left a little to be desired, but I am admittedly bougie. The general store was fantastic and even had scooped ice cream 🤩. The kids loved going on a hayride at night and cooking s’mores over our fire pit. It was a very memorable experience and if we’ll definitely consider coming back!

This was our first time visiting Sun Retreats at Millbrook and we loved our stay! I booked online, and upon our arrival the guest services moved us so we could be closer to the amenities. The property itself is really neat. There are gorgeous trees throughout and if you’re a nature person it’s a great place for photos. The showers / bathrooms are clean, and the pool is the place to be! The seasonal campers are friendly and fun, they even treated us to a little golf cart music parade last night. We stayed on one of the tent sites but the cabins look super cute and cozy. We plan on staying in me of them in the future. The only downside I will say is the general store. It’s a little sad. They should stock it up with more souvenirs etc. Overall we had a great camping experience!

I actually couldn't believe it; Yogi 🐻's spot!😂 He greets you upon your entrance. Very cool. This place is gigantic! I couldn't see as well as I wished I could have because it was pitch black. You ever wanted to film a scary movie with realistic creepiness; GO THERE!🤣 The first time, I dropped off my nephew, there was no one out. This passed week, It was full like the night clubs. There's a nice sitting area for family the further that you drive in & I was told it was a great restaurant, too. The roads were slim so just be careful driving especially in the dark. Overall it was pretty cool. It reminds me of the nice camp sites you see in the movies where the kids go kicking & screaming, but return home changed. Lol Maybe the next time I go, it will be in broad daylight & I can do a much better review.
