The park is renowned for its extensive water features, including a huge water zone with slides, an indoor pool, and an outdoor pool. RVers will appreciate the spacious, level sites featuring full hookups and concrete pads that accommodate large rigs. On-site recreation is abundant, featuring a mini-golf course, jumping pillows, and fishing ponds. For added convenience, the park offers golf cart rentals, a well-stocked camp store, and dedicated dog parks for those traveling with four-legged companions.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

While the park itself offers enough to keep guests busy for days, the local area provides several points of interest. A short 45-minute drive brings visitors to the world-famous Myrtle Beach, offering a perfect day trip for ocean swimming or boardwalk attractions. Nature enthusiasts can explore Lake Waccamaw State Park, known for its unique limestone-bottom lake and diverse ecosystem. Additionally, the local Tabor City area hosts various seasonal festivals celebrating the region's agricultural roots.

Who This Park Is Best For

Booked a 2 night stay for a tent site. Tent site had garbage all around. If check out is at 12 and check in is at 2, shouldn't there be someone who goes around and make sure the site is clean and ready for the next guest? Not here they don't do that. Most of the mini golf looked like the picture I attached. Not maintained at all. The first night we stayed, there were people in the site right next to us that were making noise until 3 am. So we were awake until then. No where on the booklet they give does it say anything about a park ranger and if there are any issues after hours to call the park ranger. At check in, nobody even mentioned that if there were after hours issues where to call. We decided we would leave the next day. We did not want to deal with another night of being kept awake and having to then call someone. Not my idea of camping and trying to enjoy what we paid for. The manager was not in that day. I got a missed call from her the next day she left a very unapologetic voice mail and basically said she "doesn't do refunds". I called her back because I was very curious what her reasoning for "not doing refunds" was. She had no real explanation. The call didn't get me anywhere. She made up a few reasons off the top of her head as to why and none of them made sense. "Well you booked within a day of coming here." "Well you only booked a 2 night stay". I said to her multiple times. I'm not sure what any of that has to do with the rowdy neighbors we had. And she just kept saying "well I don't do refunds" Bottom line. This place is run down and they don't really care about the overall experience. Also.. I didn't know this but who let's people smoke at the tent sites when you are so close to your neighbor? Really unenjoyable when you don't smoke and have to smell that.

Jellystone is a great campground. Lots of activities for kids. All the employees are very nice and helpful. The park is very clean and well maintained. Looking forward to my next vista.

Our family really enjoyed our time here at the campground. We booked the RV spot with the outdoor kitchen. Which every rv park should offer this type of RV spot on their grounds. It was so nice there was a sink, trashcan, grill, fire pit and a swing! I didn’t understand why they have a splash pad but don’t have it open. Because the pools can get really crowded and it would be nice to utilize the other water area they have. The grounds are walkable and easy to drive your bike around. They have really cool put-put but they need to update and keep it nice. There were leafs and the grass was very messed up. The ice cream and staff are wonderful outside of this one man. The mosquitoes were NEXT LEVEL! So be prepared for a lot of mosquito bites! The splash pad closes at 6pm which is silly because it’s summer and the sun doesn’t normally go down until 8:30/9:15pm. They have a lot of fishing ponds but good luck catching anything! All the shower houses are privet and very nice. The beach is about 45 minutes away which is very nice. There’s a town maybe 5 minutes down the road! All in all the park is very nice and well put. I just wish the splash pad or water park would have been open longer. So if you’re looking to make great memories buy the big RV site and book your stay here!

My first time camping here and can't wait to book another stay at Daddy Joe's . Everything was top notch from all their staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. One of the cleanest campgrounds that I have been to. Hats off to the owner, you have an awesome campground ! Everyone

I grew up camping at (actually owned a lot at one!), but the cost is just insane for camping these days, especially in May when kids are still in school and no where near the activities offered in summer. I would book more frequent since I live close if they adjusted the price for capacity, just to get away…but at these prices we only book for special occasions, like my son’s bday this year. On the positive notes, it is really pretty and well kept, they had clean/nice restrooms, the mini golf was well maintained, the creamery was delicious and I think reasonably priced. The cons, I booked bec they had a heated pool. The indoor pool was not heated and when we called to ask, they said they only heat in cooler months. Not sure what cool is to them, but it was 60 at night 🥶 so it kindof ruined us swimming as a family. The inflatable bounce pad is only inflated at certain times so 1x/day for a short bit while we were there. Thankfully we brought lots of games to entertain ourselves outside of mini golf. Overall - it’s a nice campground, just too much $$ for us.
