This was our first time ever being here . And This was hands down the best experience. If there is a negative review OVERLOOK IT. Everyone here is fantastic and went above and beyond to be accommodating! Stephanie is the manager and she is so fantastic and she cares about every detail here . The teens they have working here are hard workers which you don’t see that much in the younger generation. They all showed so much patience . Avery was one of the workers there and very kind and helpful and she even saw her friend (another employee there I believe his name was Conner ? )(he was excellent to ) needing help and she stayed even after she clocked out just to help him clean ! They had to deal with a crowd and they did it with out complaining and such grace ! The people at the cafe offered to stay open a few more minutes for us to get ice cream so we could run and grab something real fast . ! I didn’t get all the employees names we encountered and that helped us but they were all great .. Just all and all the best experience for a great price and family fun ! I will come back as much as I can

The beginning of our stay started out with having a dispute with the young lady (Angie) in the cartoon cafe about our $70 dollar pizzas that took two hours to be ready (due to phone in orders taking priority was the excuse given), we placed our order at 530 pm when they first opened (they were suppose to open at 5pm but were running behind) we were the 2nd group to order, we ordered 3 pizzas, 1 hour went by and our buzzer went off to go get our food, we got up there and the worker informed us that they didn’t have pepperoni and that she only had 1 pizza cooking, so we go back to the pool, at 7pm a worker came by to tell us it was time to go they were closing the pool, we informed her we were just wanting for our food we ordered at 530, she goes to the cafe to be told she is working on our pizza and it would be another 15 minutes (at this point we just asked to cancel our order because the wait time was m ridiculous, she said rudely that she couldn’t cancel it because she was working on it already, so we asked to speak to a manager she said with an attitude “you can walk across the street to Ranger station and find her” so we tried but no one was there because they were closed for the night) at this point there are 3 or 4 families waiting, we ask how long they have been waiting and they said 25 mins, they got their food before us! Around 730 we finally get our pizza (2 hours later) we asked for a receipt and she informed us she wasn’t allowed to give receipts? The next day we tried to do the events but they were very unorganized and not well planned, we witnessed a staff member yell at an employee over keys in front of the entire hey ride (which was full of people), our hey hey ride broke down and we waited 30 min for it to be switched, we tried to participate in the activities but they either didn’t have all of the items needed for the activity or some of the workers didn’t know what activities were suppose to be happening. We went to go to the egg hunt for the children and we were told we had to have our wrist bands on (which we did, except our son who wasn’t required to wear one) the manger told us he was required to put it on or he wouldn’t be allowed to participate in the egg hunt even thought we told her he was 2 and then she repeated rudely that he won’t be able to participate unless he wears it, we run back to the cabin get his wrist band and make him wear it, for her to tell others they don’t have to have it. The cartoon cafe hours were not the same as listed online and they were not posted at the cafe, they didn’t have many items that were listed on the menu (no big deal we made due with what we brought and what they had). Our golf carts parking break only worked occasionally, but it was nice that they offered them as it was good to have.  There were not any instructions at all on what needed to be done upon check out, and when we checked out the office wasn’t opened (check out is 11am but they didn’t open until 12pm), so we had to find the worker cleaning cabins to ask her. We also did have some issues with our cabin like the door not locking. We understand that people have bad days and that the staff is only human but the customer service here could be worked on.We did have a good time the last day, the kids loved the pool, the fishing, gem mining, the playground and put put golf. Julie (JuJu) was absolutely amazing to us and her sweet tea was delicious. Chandler went above and beyond for us and was so sweet! Stephanie on our last day there was super nice and helpful! Josh and the kitchen staff were very nice and made great food! The egg hunt for the kids was nice and the adult egg hunt and prizes was a great touch for the weekend, our family one a free stay and a bunch of jellystone park items at the adult egg hunt. The additional eggs around the park for the kids on easter was really nice! They also offer a church service on Sunday! We would recommend this location to others and we hope our future visit will be a better experience the whole time! Update: Manger has called and apologized!

My family and I LOVE everything about Yogi on the Lake in Pelahatchie. The kids beg to go and don’t want to leave! It’s always clean and the employees are happy and willing to help in whatever ways are needed. A big shoutout to Alana Goss for being so sweet, helpful, and always making sure things flow smoothly for us! We will be back very very soon.

We booked Easter weekend for the “extravaganza” that their wedsite said was Sunday. We booked Saturday-Monday. And booked a family golf cart. When we arrived Saturday it was too late to go to the pool because they close at 7 on a Saturday 🙄 makes no sense but okay, our fault no big deal. Until we really see our “deluxe yogi cabin” it was a mess but claimed at check in , fees on top of fees for everything. So wake up Sunday for this extravaganza except there was none, apparently the main events were on Saturday even though their website said Sunday. Activity center closed at noon, pool doesn’t open until 10 even though crowds of people were outside waiting, closed at 5pm. On top of the golf cart we were assigned was known to be wonkie, the man assisting with explaining the Jerry rigged golf cart to my husband said himself. Paid $130 for a golf cart that worked once and then broke down 4 times on the way from the office back to the cabin. But couldn’t receive help because ther office also closed at 5pm, and didn’t bother calling emergency number because also was no help previously in the day with broken microwave, both TVs, and the bathroom door that didn’t close at all! Bathroom floor was falling through with water and mold damage. The only good part of the trip was the beautiful lake, which is not stocked by the way but the ducks, and trees and wild life are amazing. Splash pad was fun while open, but extremely unsatisfied with cabin and organization of the “Easter extravaganza” and the pools open hours! We ended up leaving early and just taking the loss, we were so disappointed.

Ms. Kristy at the ranger station was so sweet and helpful!! She saved the day by letting us borrow her personal pot to fry fish! My family had 4 cabins total with most of us from Alabama and some family from Louisiana. Wish the activities were going on through the week already but we still really enjoyed our stay!

The ditches from runoff at the side of the roads on corners are terrible. If you have a large RV and drop off in one it will ruin a tire or jack. The laundry room had more than half the washers and dryers out of order in one laundry room and the other was locked, I am guessing because of machines out of order.They play movies outside in the evening which is great except they are so loud you can hear them inside your RV with doors and windows closed and the ac on. Dumpsters were in a very inconvenient location and you had to walk through mud to get to them. mooutanight that

This is our first stay at a Jellystone Park. Very nice and loved the spot. My dog asked for more squirrels. The road to the site were a bit tricky for bigger rigs....the holes on the side really need to be filled in and paved.

Amazing park for the entire family! Never met such awesome staff, always available to assist if you need something or forgot to bring something for your trip. Our entire family had so much fun and we’re so blessed to have a one stop location to gather, enjoy activities geared toward family and at the same time safe for children of all ages. Extremely clean property and the accommodations for our family were above and beyond our expectations!! Highly recommend a family trip here and we will absolutely be back!!

The staff here are so accommodating! We have a family member who is somewhat immobile and had some difficulties navigating the stairs into the cabin. We spoke with some of the staff members and within hours they added a handrail to the stairs for us. My sister and I were so happy when we returned from visiting some relatives and saw it had been added. My family was also happy because we wanted to be able to spend as much time as possible with our relatives and this addition was such a HUGE help with that issue. THANK YOU SO MUCH! We’re planning to visit home again soon and we will absolutely be back to enjoy this beautiful campground and park!

We had a lot of fun here for my sons birthday weekend. Came during fall break and there were plenty of activities for the kids including trick or treating. The water in the lake and splash pad was still warm enough to enjoy despite being during fall. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Trail of terror haunted trail was pretty intense.
