Attended FIRA USA 2025 here this week. The fairgrounds were beautiful and facilities were all very clean and well maintained. Loved the big trees and all the benches along the walking paths.

Yolo County Fair chooses to start when Nearly all schools begin instruction. Causing an obvious conflict and distraction to education. Limited arm bands are no longer offered on the weekends when most working families have time to go - hurting working class families the most. New for 2025 - ticket arm bands purchased 1 day can't be reused the next day. Other than the free admission - everything else is getting more expensive and are kid's are tired and absences from School are up. Didn't used to be like that.

Definitely not the same as it historically been. In fact, we found it quite boring. Even the exhibit halls lacked the lure and appeal of days of yore. The foods we tried wet mostly decent, however, pricing is through the roof—so, either eat before you go, wait to eat until you get home, or make sure you’ve got deep pockets if you want to eat those favorite yummy, sweet and or greasy deep fried fair food staples. As for the reds, they have basucally the same rides as always, with some of them having been remanded. I did not notice a SkyDiver, Flying Bobs, or Scrambler. I don’t recall seeing the giant slide, either. That’s not to say these weren’t there…I just didn’t notice them. Corn dogs will cost you $9-$12 each, demeonding on whether you’re buying the regular sized ones or the jumbos. Big bag of Cotten candy =$12 2 Hotdogs for $20 Simple Charicature drawings start at $18 for a small basuc one. Go check it out… Im sure you’ll find at least one thing you’ll like…maybe.

The Yolo County fairgrounds host the Strawberry Festival, car show and petting zoo.

Strawberry Festival 2025. Small festival with good food trucks. Lots of handmade items for sale. Fresh fruit and veggies stands. Magic show was a hit with the kids. Petting zoo. Pony rides. Amusement rides. And a classic cars show. Nice Mother’s Day activity.

Prices are too high. The money is gone before you get to enjoy the night. I believe the event is more for the establishment and not the people. What a shame

Have you been to Yolo County Fair in Woodland, California. As you see from the pictures you can see fun stuff like most of the county fair. I gave it five stars because everybody's having fun, nobody was rushing around, people are acting civilized good home family fun and it’s free.

Why not take the family or with friends to the fairgrounds where you can enjoy great vendor foods, live music, and much more. At times there is no charge to come in so this you will have to check the website, but when I went it was "Free" to get in and only $5 to park.

Always Enjoyable, The Yolo County Fair is a Free Gate Fair 👍👍👍👍👍🌭🌮🍔🍺☕🚜🍟🎠🎡🌽🐄🐐🐑🐖🐎 Remember the Yolo County Fair for next year, I recommend if you have never been... 4-H and FFA Spring show, and other events are held there during the rest of the year. A Demolition Derby has been historically featured...
