NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY A week after we got here, she texted me and was accusing me of washing litter through the machine. First off who washes litter through the machines? Second, she didn’t even go and look at the dryer vent to see if it was even cat litter BEFORE messaging me. She messaged me this long message accusing me of washing litter in the machines, and didn’t even send out the same message to other people who have animals that are living in the campground. So I didn’t go back for almost 2 weeks. When I did…. I took before and after photos, the dryer vents weren’t cleaned out and had little white pebble like in the lint trap. If you’re going to have a manager live on the site , then she needs to be available during the hours the office says. She doesn’t answer the ring camera, or her phone during the “business” hours. ALL 3 washers took my quarters, went up there and of course manager didn’t answer. One wasn’t even plugged in, the other broken, and the 3 rd one didn’t even rinse out my clothes and had sitting water in it. The dryers don’t heat, and the lint traps look like they have not been cleaned out in months. The monthly rate here is a JOKE, especially if the amenities don’t work like they should or be able to get ahold of the manager who lives on site. 800$!! Ridiculous. Overall this place has bad hospitality and not good for families who travel for work and have to stay for months at a time.

Not sure what others were expecting you can clearly see from the satellite view on Google maps that this isn’t a “resort” style campground. This place is very utilitarian and it’s a great spot to stop on your way through Nebraska. Easily accessible from the highway and close to stores/food places. I will agree the road is bumpy but that comes with being gravel in the Midwest where the ground freezes and thaws. We’ve stayed here twice and if we’re ever through the area would probably stop again. My only real complaint would be that the highway is close so it can be a bit noisy at times but nothing too crazy.

No sewer on the back half of camp sites that doesn't get pumped but once every 2 weeks. The potholes are ridiculous. It looked to us the entire camp ground was funded by pipeliners, but no upgrades being made to make it nicer. Their making money hand over fist yet doesn't appear anything gets done.. we checked in and wanted to leave soon after. No refunds after u check in..forced to stay or lose 860.00 for a mere 3 weeks. We roughed it, walked to a shower house. Only 3 washers w only 2 actually working..it's a bare minimum place.

We enjoyed staying at York Kampground back in April. Park was well maintained and staff was very friendly. Pull through site was very level and had room for car to stay on the back of the motorhome. (always a plus, if you're just staying a night) Park was nice and quiet, however, there was some noise from the highway. Showers were clean. We would stay again.

This campground is an excellent stopover spot. It is easy to get to, right off of I-80 and Highway 81 in York, NE. The sites are pull-through and you can get FHU or just water/electric. There is a dump station onsite. The campground is clean and the camp host is so friendly and helpful. We have stayed here twice in our way from Joplin, MO to Sidney, NE and have had excellent experiences both times. I highly recommended this campground.
