We are fulltime RVers. We stayed here for 1 week in mid November. It was definitely the off-season as the park had very view campers during our stay beyond the long term folks. We really enjoyed the quiet. The location is probably the best thing about this campground (we were here to visit Yosemite). We were hesitant to book after reading so many reviews that were less than appealing. The park really has the potential to be an awesome place! The property is situated on rolling terrain with plenty of mature trees, grass and other foliage. They offer multiple bath houses with showers, multiple laundry rooms, pool, clubhouse, horseshoes and a very big dog park. They offer multiple choices of RV sites, tent sites, cabins of varying sizes and yurts. However the entire place had a rundown and neglected feel. Our site had cigarette butts, pop tops from aluminum cans, small trash and even the remains of a rotted pumpkin. One of the men's bathrooms had an exhaust vent that appeared to have not been cleaned in a loooong time. Same bathroom had an open window the entire week with the screen completely missing. Some electrical pedestals had covers completely off. All pedestals could use a fresh coat of paint for an easy and cheap improvement to the overall feel to the place. As others noted, the entire property is NOT easy to navigate. There is some signage but none call out the site numbers in the location and some signage was actually hidden by overgrown foliage. Some serious maintenance and TLC is needed at this park. NOT worth the prices being charged! Would we return? Very hard to say as there were only a few sites that were accessible to large rigs (we tow a 42' 5th wheel) without being more hassle than the risk BUT the park does not allow you to reserve a specific site. We were only able to request a specific site because it was off season. Being off season you are also running the risk that all of Yosemite might not be open due to winter weather.

We had a great stay at this RV park in early May 2025. There is an area for long-term campers, but where we stayed, people came and went—we stayed about a week. Our space, #90, was shaded under the trees, level, and had plenty of room on the sides for a table and chairs. The park grounds were well maintained, and the laundry area was functional and clean. No issues with the Wi-Fi. The park is about 40 miles south of Yosemite, with the South Entrance being the closest. While we don’t travel with pets, we noticed the pet area doesn’t have shade. Other facilities were not used, but ice is available for purchase at the office. The staff were very friendly and helpful during check-in and when we bought ice. Overall, a very peaceful and pleasant place to stay.

We are full timers and have stayed at over 40 campgrounds in 2025 and this is by far our biggest disappointment. Based on the web site and pictures(very deceiving) and the exorbitant price I paid, I expected a 5 star resort type campground. Definitely not what we got. First clue was when we drove in and it was 2/3 empty. The sites that were full were mostly long term campers many who clearly don’t care. There sites were a mess and cluttered and looked poorly. After walking around you can tell it was a beautiful campground at one time, but it is showing serious signs of age and lack of upkeep. Basic maintenance like picking up trash, mowing, clearing brush, and cleaning fire pits isn’t getting done. If I paid $60 for this site I would say it was well worth it but definitely not worth $115.

Located about 30 minutes from the South entrance to Yosemite. Shady and beautiful but very hilly. TERRIBLE SPEED BUMPS throughout. Our site was beautifully spacious and shady but was almost impossible to get the RV level. A very large dog park. Nice clean large showers in a clean, well kept bathhouse. Steep exit out. Nice pool and other amenities but all would be a significant walk from some sites. Located about 10 minutes from Oakhurst where there are restaurants and tourist shops.

Didn’t stay here but had some trailer problems with my horse trailer. Stopped to let the trailer breaks cool off. The front desk woman was so kind and caring. Without hesitation let us stay to cool off and genuinely cared. Chris, the handyman, came to see if he could help us. He called the local auto shop for us (without us asking even) and said they could help us out. He said he wouldn’t sleep well tonight if he didn’t know that we would get home OK. This place has my business in the future, just simply off their kindness and generosity when we needed it. I will be sending friends and family their information as well thank you so much and yes, we made it home safely!

We take our RV here each spring before taking it out on longer trips. It's a nice and comfortable little resort and we've never had any trouble here. The bathrooms and laundry room are clean although I have to admit that I have not needed to use them All of our services have worked each time we visit and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. Though much of that which they offer is simple, it is well maintained. the dog park for example is nothing more than about a half of an acre of grass with a fence around it. But it is kept mowed and there are two benches to sit while the pups run around. The swimming pool is nice and well maintained but outside of that, not a lot of amenities. The water pressure is good at each site, and power is reliable. They have cute little cabins and yurts although I have never stayed overnight in either. If you are on your way to Yosemite this is still a drive to get to the park entrance, but the trade off is that it is right on the freeway and not in the middle of a town. Easy in - easy out for your rig on highway 41 just before the little town of Coarsegold.

Definitely not a resort. Grounds were clean but trash enclosures were over flowing including the dog park waste can. Facilities need updating/upkeep…looked old and overdue for facelift. Campground was not designed to be big rig friendly as turns are sharp, unlevel, and limbs are low hanging. Should be trimmed for sure. Sewer connections were on high end of sloping sites and did not allow for easy drainage. We stayed two nights while visiting Yosemite (ab 30 minute drive to park entrance and another hour drive inside park to main attractions). Mariposa grove does not allow personal vehicles (have to take a trolley into). For that reason we will go in west entrance to park if we ever come back. We only saw one employee on grounds the morning we were leaving after being there for two days. Quiet time rules were not enforced as campers next to us were playing music loud and outside partying well after quiet time. Thankfully they left the next morning. Additionally, there appeared to be some long term campers as well.

Campground was nice, pool was much appreciated. Big fenced in area for the dogs to play. Close to Yosemite National Park entrance (but then an hour drive is required through the park to the visitors centre/many trail heads). A lot of the camp sites were nice, however, the one we had was shared between us and our neighbour. It was too big to be one camp site but not big enough the be two. There was also no sewage at this particular spot.

Our stay was really nice. We were having issues with our trailer and the resort maintenance man, Chris was super extra helpful and nice. in helping us. Everything was clean and in the month of February, pretty quiet. I was told it can get really busy in the summer though. Everyone here is really nice and welcoming. Will come again!

We stayed here for a short few days and had a great time. The park is fairly large with back in and pull through sites. There is a pool, clubhouse, general store, laundry, and playground. Located very close to grocery stores and the national park. Peaceful area with plenty of space.

Great, no-drama RV stop! The back-in site we were assigned had the hookups on the wrong side. Once we turned the rig around, all was good. You may need a Masters in ancient greek cartography, especially if coming in at night (the map is quite detailed and sites are hard to find). Once we were in and setup it was a great stay. Relatively close to the park, and the local towns were super cool. Site was nice and level.
