We arrived early afternoon to a packed lot full of semis and RVs either fueling up, resting, or checking in. Despite the congestion, we were able to position two 40’ fifth wheels in the designated check-in area without blocking traffic. Check-in was smooth, and we were assigned pull-through site 32 with water and 30 AMP service. The site was plenty long enough to accommodate both our rig and F-450. Utilities were conveniently located in the center of the pad, and water pressure was decent. We had 3 bars on Verizon and 2 on T-Mobile, and were able to get a solid shot of the southern sky for Starlink. There is WiFi at the motel, but it didn’t show up as an available network at the campground. The laundry and shower building was a standout feature—clean and well-kept with four large washers and four large dryers. Washing cost $4 CAD, and drying used quarters. Showers were available in the same building. Originally, we planned a two-night stay, but realized our receipt only reflected one night, so we returned to the office to settle up for the second and check on the Good Sam discount. The campground sign as you come into town had the Good Sam logo. Staff was friendly and helpful but did not know anything about any discount. The campground offers a variety of site sizes, and we appreciated that it wasn’t just a big gravel lot—our site had grass and felt more inviting. Site 32 pulls in facing the lake while site 33 pulls in opposite, which worked perfectly for our group since their picnic table was on our door side. Site 32 had its own picnic table set forward near the pad entrance on the utility side. The campground appears to be under new management, with noticeable remodeling and improvements underway. Some of the lakeside back-in sites are being removed to make way for a game and fire pit area. We grabbed lunch at the onsite restaurant—convenient and the food was okay, but a nice option to have onsite. They do give a small discount for fuel if you are staying in the campground. You pump first and then go into pay, so be sure to ask for the discount. Overall, we enjoyed our two-night stay and found this a great spot to stop while heading through the Yukon.

Excellent showers, clean with good pressure. Everything in the bathroom/shower area was very clean. The restaurant had good food. The customer service was excellent. Fairly quiet even with all the hwy construction going on out front. Fairly level sites. We did a pull thru. Very cold and windy, so we didn't take advantage of the Teslin lake that was right there, just a few feet away.

Food can get a little expensive but they will fill your own cup of ice and drink. You don’t find ice like that on Alcan. So be nice lol

Our experience here was awful. We got fuel here and the girl working the register couldn't figure out how to process the payment. She ran the card 7 times then I ended up using my other card to pay for it. She refused to let us leave until the manager came 45 minutes later even after showing them they took the money off my card! The girl at the register was very rude and unprofessional making comments to every person that came in that we messed up there system. Could be a beautiful place with better staff and an upgraded system! If you can do it avoid fueling up here!
