We stayed here several times and always have had a great experience. Amenities are very nice and staff is friendly and helpful. We loved the s’mores provided at the campfire one evening. Saturday mornings donuts are provided and we got a chance to meet other RV’ers from all over the country. Location is great for a day trip to Sedona , Payson, Jerome or Cottonwood Would definitely recommend this RV park!

We were in an RV. Park staff were very nice and facilities were extremely nice. We are dog lovers, and the dog run was very nice and clean. It is a no frills park ( no pool, pickleball, etc) which really fits our lifestyle as they have nice trails and several small diversion items. We have been RVing for a almost 60 years and I would rate this park in top 10 easily.

We rented one of their cabins for 2 weeks in February of 2026. The cabins are very well appointed and very comfortable. I'm sitting on the back deck of the cabin as I write this review. The back deck is a very nice place to sit and enjoy the afternoon. The RV park is 7 miles outside of Camp Verde. The RV park is extremely well taken care of and the people here are very friendly. We are close enough to Sedona for day trips. There are many other things to do in the general location. We'll come back again. Things to do: Grand Canyon day trip, Jerome, old Clarksville, Sedona, local Pueblo Indian ruins, fishing in the creek on the property, and more.

This was my favorite RV site i’ve been to. It wasn’t a big resort with pools and jacuzzis but it felt like home. Sitting around the provided fire pit with free s'more's and enjoying fellow RV’ers was so much fun. The staff was amazing and the site was so clean and well maintained. I loved that the walkways were lit and bathrooms clean! I could go on and on but instead i’ll close with… if you want to feel comfortable and safe, enjoy the small town vibe, this place is for you. The regulars going for 16 years straight says enough.

We absolutely love this park. I was a little concerned at first about being so close to the roadway and expected more noise, but the other reviews were right — it’s incredibly quiet. Even in the winter, the park feels magical. The atmosphere and neighbors are friendly throughout, and the bathrooms are the cleanest I’ve ever seen in any Arizona RV park. The service was outstanding as well. From coffee and donuts on Saturdays and they fill propane tanks on-site for a very reasonable price! One of the employees even saw me removing my large tank to drive it up front. He immediately offered to take it for me, filled it using the golf cart, and brought it right back. They even charged it to my card on file, which made the whole process effortless. The park also has direct access to clear-water creek — and yes, the water really is crystal clear. Had we known they stock it with rainbow trout, we definitely would have brought our fishing gear. The trails are well maintained, and the entire park is nicely lit at night. Honestly, this has become one of my favorite RV parks. We can’t wait to come back when all the trees are in full green.

The staff at Zane Grey was outstanding. We had an issue with a pet that escaped from our RV during early morning in the rain. The staff kept diligent watch and became aware of dogs barking that was out of the normal atmosphere. That was when Bill climbed a small heavily foliaged hill and found our pet in the presence of the dogs. He carried our pet down and returned him safely. Thank you to the staff for your efforts. On top of that, the grounds were being cleaned constantly by the staff which shows a commitment from the team in presenting a well maintained park. Kudos and thanks Zane Grey. We’ll be back!!!

First timers to Zane Grey RV and it did not disappoint! Our site was very clean, raked and ready when we arrived. Grounds, bathroom and showers were clean, updated and very nice. The "extras" game-room, TV BBQ Cornhole area and the lighting of the trails and perimeter were FABULOUS! Staff is super friendly and helpful. We will definitely return

Very nice RV Resort! I've worked in the travel industry for many years and was very impressed by all the extra details/amenities provided! Wowed by the big fire pit, wood provided, along with comfortable seating and blankets! Lots of games, both in the building near the Ramada & at the new building. A food truck & a very good band played Sat afternoon/evening. Resort kept very clean. Fun night lighting. It's all those things that really make it an exceptional stay. Location is very good with easy access to explore the local area. Definitely will return.

One of the nicest campgrounds I’ve been stayed at in a long time. Very well maintained large spaces. Restrooms and showers were immaculately clean. Lots of fun things for the kids and family to do. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. Plus they have a beautiful woody trail that you can walk around. It goes down to the creek. They’ve put out benches so you can sit and enjoy the scenery and the creek.

We recently stayed at Zane Grey RV Village and were absolutely delighted by the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their friendly demeanor and helpful tips about the area. We stayed Monday-Thursday in the RV park, pull thru sites thinking kids would be in school and the park quiet-er. We dont mind kids but we thought we had the kid noises handled within the week visit. We have been in this park when it was a 55+ but understand they want more attendance. The kids appear to belong to management.Families will enjoy this place. Lots for kids to do now. As for us, not thinking we will return.

We stayed at Zane Grey RV Park last week with our 5th wheel. Let me say this campground is so unique! The friendly staff..clean campgrounds and restrooms. Love all the lights and just the grounds are so different than your typical campground. A must stay for everyone! Wish it was closer to my home (Georgia) because I would be here often!

This was my third time at this RV park and second with my family. The park has always been clean along with the bathroom/showers. I stayed in space 50 which is a pull through site. It isn’t bad but has a lot of sun exposure if you like that it’s also close to the office and short trip to the bathrooms but not too close to them either. The staff at the park are friendly and helpful. On this trip, they had face painting for the kids, live music, donuts and coffee in the morning and other activities. They have a clean dog area, and a play area for the kids. My family enjoys going even my grumpy 13-year-old daughter. Ah, the teenage years start-hooray! She did have a good time. We used this a base to go to Out of Africa and Jerome on this trip. We will be going back and I recommend this RV park. They also have cabins to rent. My wife, her sisters and mother take a girls trip to air bnb’s with the kids. She is recommending renting cabins on their next trip. They had food trucks come into the park as well.

We absolutely love Zane Grey RV Park! The hosts and staff are always welcoming, helpful, and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The park itself is beautifully maintained with clean grounds, great amenities, and plenty of space. It’s both family-friendly and pet-friendly, with activities that truly offer something for everyone. The Saturday morning donuts are such a fun tradition, and the live music nights are the perfect way to unwind. Whether you’re staying for a short visit or a longer getaway, this park has the perfect balance of comfort, community, and charm.

Friendly and helpful staff. Arrived there with a flat tire, nail picked up on road. As space was provided staff came out to change site to a better shaded one and she noticed flat. Without asking the maintenance folks came out with a portable compressor for me to use along with options of tire repair shops. That was totally unexpected and much appreciated. Great Service overall plus the place is amazing with access to the creek and a 21 plus area for evening play of pool and enjoying music. Definitely recommend Zane Grey for next stay, I'm my next trip in September before it gets too cold...
