We thought this campground was fabulous. We stayed for four nights in early October. Weather was definitely turning cold but we lucked out with brilliant sunny days. Barely anyone else in the campground and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. We were in Site 113 which was fabulous - full hookups - good space between our site and the next door neighbors and had a great aspect looking out towards the lake and into the forest. The campground is full of beautiful tall pines trees, and yes! That means you need to be able to steer your enormous RV around them! Lol the other reviews for this campground 🥴. But seriously yes there are obstacles here and you will need to know how to level your RV as well as drive it properly. Easy stroll across the road to enjoy the lake and the walking paths. Definitely would come back here again.

I’ve camped here a few times during the winter, and it’s always been an amazing experience. One time, I got stuck in the snow, but the staff was incredibly helpful, getting me out and even clearing the pathway for me. The only downside was that snow had fallen from the trees and damaged the skylight, but honestly, there’s not much that can be done about that. Just something to be aware of.

I camped there early April, just before the season began, and I was lucky enough to capture perfect weather and a quiet campground. The staff was amazing and helpful. My first visit to Lake Tahoe, and I’m so glad I chose this campground! It’s just a short walk across the street to the main beach — super convenient, yet tucked away under towering trees for peace and quiet. The sunset views over the lake from the campground were absolutely stunning. A serene and perfect spot!

Great campground but very close together. No issues just wish we had a little more space. Campground is very clean and accessible and a great place to stay!

My husband and I stayed here for a week in May, just before the season started. It took us about an hour to get checked in and to our site. The park wasn't fully staffed yet, so we had to check in at the resort across the street and then when we got to our site, someone was already there, so we had to be moved. Also, there was never anyone in the office at the campground. The bathrooms and showers are cleaned daily and the maintenance staff is attentive. Most of the washer and dryers work, but keep in mind that they don't have timers. And be aware that the roads in the campground are narrow. Lake Tahoe across the street is beautiful and we enjoyed the hiking trails. The further from the lodge you go on the beach, the less crowded it is. We also saw a bear our first day here! This area is beautiful and we would come back during the season next time.
