My husband and I really enjoyed Zooland Family Campground. It’s very clean and beautiful. It has a whole lot of fun things to do for the whole family. We don’t have children with us, but there is so much things for the kids. My husband and I had so much fun playing the Horseshoe game and the mini golf, then we took our little dog for a nice walk on the trail. There is a pretty lake in it. There is plenty of events scheduled like Bingo, Concerts, and Movies. The laundry room is clean. The staffs are so friendly. Easy exit and entrance to the freeway. We will come back here.

The location was ideal. I was disappointed with the parking space although the view was beautiful, we had to back in and the large pull behind that arrived on our third day was super large and almost touched us. I'm sure they were glad when we left the next day so they could actually use their canopy. I will say I was very pleased with the bath house. It was spacious, clean and modern. Overall we really enjoyed your facility and look forward to returning soon. Thank you for all your efforts. Sonja Davis

Great campground! It’s nice and quiet, the rv spots have plenty of room and are nicely shaded. Lots of amenities for the kids: pool, jumping pillow, playground, arcade, hiking trails. The bathhouses were well kept and clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Location was great for visiting the zoo and not too far from Greensboro as well. Will definitely be staying here again if we’re in the area!

We had a tent site with power and water. Went there on Christmas in July weekend. We have lived down the road form this place for years and always forget lol. Finally went and it was awesome. Staff are all very friendly. Camp is very clean as well as facilities. Only complaint(more a desire or option) the area where we have to pitch the tent had a lot of sharp roots poking up. Like I said not terrible, but I would suggest something like a few moving blankets between your tarp and tent floor. Or possibly if sand is added to the area. Other than that this will be a place we come back to again for sure. Our spot had morning sun and evening shade and that was wonderful! Can't wait for our next trip there!

The service is amazing! The guy with the well trimmed beard was so friendly and helpful. Made sure my son knew what was going on. Cheryl in the gift shop was always super nice. The pool was clean. Very close to Zoo, restaurants and shopping. Only thing I would change is they need shade in the mini golf section. Thank you Zooland for helping us make memories! We will be back

We camped here for the first time recently and loved it. Sites are fairly close together but the cleanliness and amenities make up for that. Our granddaughter’s (ages 3 & 7) had a wonderful time on the jump pillow and playground. Bath house was spotless. This place is a 10/10.

We had an awesome time at Zooland Campground! Everyone there is very helpful and kind. The grounds are clean and kept up. The bathrooms are heated and the campground store has everything you need!

I would happily revisit this place. Even though most of the slots were small and close together, as far as RV parking goes, monthly rates were very reasonable, and the campground had a relaxed and casual family-oriented atmosphere, with a community-based vibe. They are also dog-friendly. There are 30 amp shore lines, plus water hookups, and dump lines, at each slot. The ones in the very back include a number of 50 amp lines. There is a general store located at the front, where some basic goods were for sale, along with a few specialty camping-themed items. Propane and firewood were available for purchase, there, too. As far as recreation, there was a basketball court, a catch-and-release pond, two pool tables, a mini golf course, walking trails, and more. There were many wild blackberries and raspberries growing along the trail into the woods in the back slots, during the summer, they were ripe for the picking! Watch out for aggressive flea infestions in any canine companions, and check body for ticks, when returning from the trails, or even the edge of the woods.

(*** update after receiving feedback from staff.) Over all great family friendly campground. The staff is the limiting factor. If you have a question or need assistance be prepared to not have a nice interaction. If you can enjoy your time without staff interaction you will have a great time! -If you ask were something is you will be bluntly reminded that you have a map and that your map has everything you need to know on it. - if part of your group shows up after 9pm be prepared to be interrogated on if a pass is being shared or if you actually paid. You shouldn't be cheating anyway but the staff will assume you are. - If your sight has faults be prepared to be treated as though you were the problem and not that the site simply had issues. Obviously no apologies from a hospitality business. - Some workers will also queue you in to what other staff to stay away from because of the lack of people skills. Other than that, it's a hard 3/4 stars for the location and available activities. As well as the reasonable prices at she camp store!
