Meh. Pro: Kinda new, clean, nice front desk person. Con: Setting up and checking out is a mess, inconsistent access at night, not as climate-controlled as you might think. I needed a storage unit to house all the furniture my son was going to take to his apartment at school in fall. I wanted a climate-controlled unit, close to our home with access to the unit fairly late into the evening. I went with this place because I thought it would meet those needs. First, I filled out the online form to reserve a unit. I entered all the required information and rather than a confirmation, I got a phone call. This is one of my pet peeves. Why have an online system if you're just going to call me or tell me to come in to complete the transaction? When I went to the office in person it took at least 15 minutes to get someone to help. The person at the front desk was so frazzled by registration process I was there for at least an hour more. Then after that registration rigmarole I was told the unit they reserved for me wasn't actually available. The reason the unit was rented to me is because the office thought they saw the previous tenant moving some things out of storage. They assumed the current renter was gone even though she still had the unit for 10 or more days. When I went to move in the unit still had a lock on it. I was offered a larger unit for an increase in price. It would have been nice if they offer to prorate the unit for me at the smaller unit price for the first month to compensate for the inconvenience, but no they charged me all of then rent, and some moving fee I still don't understand. I think it's important to note that the climate wasn't all that controlled. It's a warehouse environment and even if the temperature is set at 80*, it's still hella hot in the storage unit. We rented late summer, and I didn't expect the unit to be refrigerator, but it was still pretty dang warm to the point that don't think plastic would survive longer-term. Something else to keep in mind is at least two times we went to put something in storage around 9:50 p.m. and we weren't able to gain entry. I wasn't looking for 24 hour access, but I've never rented a storage unit that didn't allow renter access until at least 10:00 p.m. Speaking of access, the code system they use is more convoluted than any other storage space I've used in the past. Finally when I called to let them know I would not be renewing the next month (kid moved to college), I was checked out before the end of my contract. Since I was checked out prematurely the office said they would have to set us up with access again. Let's do that then. I figured I didn't get a pro rata move in rate, so I expected to keep the unit until all my days were used. It wasn't all bad. The unit was clean. My stuff was secure for the 3 months we were renting. The front desk person was really nice. The owner was not at all friendly to me. I thought it might just be whatever was going on with her that day, but each time I saw her or she called she was kinda sour. Whatever. I probably wouldn't have said anything about the place and let people draw their own conclusion, but I kept getting the reminder to review them so you're welcome.

Great location and super spacious. The property was kept nicely and I felt safe leaving my belongings in storage for months. Never had a problem with payments. And the manager always responded quickly to phone calls. Love this place and will gladly use again!
